Went here on a Sunday with my colleagues for our staff meal as the reviews were high and I thought it's worth paying the extra for a high end meal.

We all got a multitude of items from starters, mains and desserts as we spent over £400 with just 12 people. The onion bhaji and salmon tikka starter were really good that me and my wife got. The mains I chose were Jhinga Garlic (disappointed only 2 large prawns in it) and Seafood Balti dish. Both were average compared to other places I've eaten and the fresh waffles were good. The lamb chops were pretty tough based on colleagues comments and tasted more like mutton, the lamb shank was however good.

I've been to a lot of dessert places with waffles so they matched up pretty well even though they had 1 waffle maker (I would invest in another as they are a big part of he dessert menu). The overall waiting time and order taking seemed to confuse the staff and a full process and preparation could have been much better to handle the large booking. There's no need to skimp on the paper napkins, haha (had to ask a few times and only received like 6-7 pieces) Ideally for a large group booking, the table should be presented with jugs of water, paper napkins, utensils etc as a default setup. I had to ask for same things too many times.

The prices against the food quality was a little steep in my opinion based on the inconsistency across the full menu. If all the items were very good, the price is always worth it. I've eaten in expensive restaurants also. Its trying to find diamonds against stones where the food, service and price has a good balance.

I would say overall food is average (I've been eating curries most of my life and have been a dessert chef and cook myself prior). The staff were nice but service was slow considering there was only 1 other table at the time which were half way through meal when we arrived, service seemed a little disorganized, we ended up getting extra waffles we didn't order but was charged regardless.

Personally I won't need to go again to check consistency but for people wanting to try a new place I wouldn't say no. I normally go again to places I review if the food is very memorable and I want to recheck again for the consistency. I would give 3.5 stars if half stars...

Customer Service: In ubereats ordered chicken biriyani under desi biriyani section and got chicken Balti. When called up the restaurant to check about it, they spoke in a very inappropriate tone saying it’s not their fault but it’s our fault. Firstly, when we genuinely wanted to just share the issue with the restaurant they are not suppose to shout at us. Secondly, it clearly states in the Uber eats under desi biriyani section. Thirdly, he hung up the call when in the middle of the conversation.

Never expected customer service would be so bad and rude especially when we were trying to speak in a good tone and resolve the issue at the beginning.

Food taste: taste was not bad (4/5)

Eve though the food was ok, I am not going to order from here because of the poor and worst customer service.

Reply for response given by the restaurant: As already stated above, we tried to sort the issue out by calling tue restaurant instead of reporting to Uber eats first. We can clearly check the time when we call the restaurant and the time we reported the issue to Uber Eats. Since we did not get the appropriate response from the restaurant manager, we had no choice than to report it to Uber eats the next day. And to be honest, we, in call with the restaurant, just informed that we received a curry instead of biriyani in a very polite manner. Manager could have just told that it was a mistake in the system or something. We would have left it there and then. But the manager started to put the blame on us saying we ordered it wrong. Whereas, we were trying to explain that we ordered chicken under the biriyani section, so that neither the restaurant or any other customer in future should have to face this issue again. We very well know how to run the business. We never asked you to send the biriyani when we called you to report this. We were just trying to explain the situation when the manager started to shout and ended the...

Just back from what was possibly the worst service I've ever had in a Birmingham curry house. Took 90 minutes for us to receive our starters, and that only seemed to arrive after we asked when they were going to arrive (we issued an ultimatum if they didn't arrive within 3 minutes minutes that we were leaving). When they did arrive (with 30 seconds left) my wife's veggie samosas were cold in the middle and my (and my pals) Sea bass starter firstly looked nothing like sea bass, more like a heated up frozen lidl lemon sole with some curry powder on it (I've had sea bass many times and this was definitely not that!). The onion bhaji ordered by the rest of the table were passable in fairness bit nothing to ring home about. We mentioned the cold samosas and after 10 minutes of waiting for them to replace them and still nothing we asked and complained to cancel the mains and leave. They refused to admit any wrong doing or mistakes and claimed that we had "rushed them" and take no responsibility. This was all whilst their kitchen had takeaway orders flying out and the serving staff gave us no update or apology to our poor service. Eventually we left after agreeing to pay for the piss poor starters. I will never return here. Poor service. Rude. And the food that actually managed to make it's way to the table (that wasn't cold) was...

he restaurant was very slow, but the main waiter didn't seem to want to even wait on us. The person who did finally wait on us after 30 minutes was the guy who showed us to our table and at least got us water and originally said our waiter would take our order. I saw him even confront the other waiter and ask if he was going to help us. The guy who finally waited on us was nice, but overall, the service was horrible. When we did see the main waiter was when we paid. He added up the bill and tossed in an extra 20% gratuity. I didn't have the patients to even argue and just paid so we could leave. Ask for a hard copy of the written bill as it's just on a sheet of paper and add it yourself before you pay. I'm glad I just paid and left because thinking back on it, they are quite fortunate, I didn't tell him what I really thought. Food wise, it was okay, but my meal didn't taste like any Chicken Tiki Masal I've ever had. It was red and had a sweet flavor to it so I recon I received something else.

We came as a table of six, and eager to try this new restaurant being local and it's fantastic new looks. We wasn't dissapointed that's for sure. They have done a fantastic job with this place it's super clean and everything looks well nice. The staff are very welcoming, the service was fantastic. You can see the chefs through the window cooking your food which is a nice touch. I ordered a chicken tikka Bulti with extra coriander, garlic naan bread and pilau rice. The dish had so much flavours I really enjoyed it 10 out of 10 for me. We shell definitely be returning to this restaurant soon.
