So Nice Caribbean Takeaway — Restaurant in Birmingham

AWFUL and a complete rip off. First time trying this place and can confidently say we will not be returning. Ordered 2 large mutton curry and rice portion was questionable(had to have white rice as they were out of rice and peas) seeing as rice and peas is a staple of carribean cuisine this is pretty poor as should have this available at all times, it's like going into a south asian restuarant and them saying they are out of chapattis. The only saving grace the mutton was tender however it lacked flavour and the gravy/sauce was diluted to within an inch of its existence. I wouldn't have minded paying the £30 had it been to standard but this was well below what we have had from anywhere else. The quality of the food is good however my aunt booked them for catering for 300 people. Let me tell you she was robbed. The man Trevor said to my Aunt he cooked one whole of goat. This establishment charged nearer 3k for this Occasion a death of a loved one. The family have been left embarrassed my Aunt will never forgive Trevor for this. They are not caterers they don’t know how to measure portions. This is because they are only a dumpling Shop. Leave the catering to proper caterers. I Went to get soup at 4.15 pm I was told the soup had just finished so I decided to have ox tail with food What a big disappointment the food had no taste the ox tail didn't look like ox tail and it certainly didn't taste like ox tail.
