Sweethouse & arabic food — Restaurant in Birmingham

I have to give this 10 marks out of 10! There isn't a specific menu or price list, which didn't bother me much because it's more about the food. There was a slight language barrier, but it was no big deal. They offer both uncooked and pre-cooked foods, including salmon, lamb, goat, chicken kebabs, etc. They also had biryani rice and flatbreads to choose from.

They gave me a complimentary soup, which tasted absolutely fantastic. I received my food within minutes of ordering, and it was plentiful. I ordered lamb shank with two chicken kebabs with rice and a side dish of salad with limes. I was literally in heaven the whole time I was eating my lunch. I couldn't finish it, but I did as a sign of respect to these people. The staff was friendly, courteous, and respectful, filled with smiles. My food came to £18, which was definitely worth it. Great food. Very nice service. First time there I had the recommended 'Lamb Koosi' which was delicious chunks of braised lamb on a bed of rice and covered with sauce. Really filling if you are good and hungry. They do many other dishes too, all at very affordable prices. Quick lunch stop. Ordered a platter for 3. It was a huge portion. Delicious rice, pasta, grilled chicken, chicken kofta, lamb kofta, chicken shawarma, huge chunks of meat served with fresh crunchy salad. Could not finish the meal! Very satisfying...
