First of all let me point out that any photos of food are now outdated and the photos I have provided are all that is available. This is a good venue for live entertainment and not for a meal out. No crockery or cutlery. We did enjoy our meals and I must point out how hot and spicy it is. The steak strips were very tender. It was a busy night and the bar was way understaffed, each visit to the bar was at least 20 minutes wait. The ladies toilets were very poor with one of the cubicles covered in vomit and remained that way until the end. So clearly no inspections were carried out. At least one of the cubicles didn't lock. I suppose that if the staff are struggling to cope at the bar then the toilets will go amiss. We sat near the mens toilets and the banging entrance door drove me mad. A bit of time and effort would solve these problems. You'll always get the money in the till but it's equally satisfying to have customers leaving happy and not disgusted. On the plus side, it is a well laid out sports bar with multiple screens of live sports. Live music every Saturday and reasonably priced drinks. Recently in lanzarote a similar type of bar had cameras set up so the live entertainment was shown on the screens while performing. Great idea.

Won’t be going back. Went for a children’s animal event. All booking tickets and confirmation clearly states 1pm (see photos below). Arrived at 12:45pm. Gentleman on the door, who I think was the manager, was very abrupt and not very friendly at all. Wasn’t happy that I hadn’t paid a ticket for my 4 month old! Not enough chairs, tables and chairs at too many people. By 1:20pm everyone was fed up, I went to ask the manager what time it will be starting and he was very rude and said it clearly said doors open at 1pm and show started at 2pm. Why on earth would you have a children’s event where they can come an hour before, I can understand a gig, so people can get a few drinks but not small children! Had to get some chips as my little boy was bored; £3.50 for the chips in the photo, absolutely disgusting. Show eventually started and was very portly organised. The manager just left the man to it, kids everywhere, parents in the way, ZERO organisation. Dread to think what it’s like for music evening. This was 100000% better many years ago under different management.

My experience here was honestly fantastic. My bartenders shannie and karen were so accommodating and helpful in picking the perfect drink to match myy food Inside the venue : wingbox I got perfect fried mac and cheese bites, saucy wings and the meat in the burger was so succulent my mouth was watering 😋 I’ll definitely be back

efore I go any further worth noting I have contacted the manager twice to resolve the issues to no response customer service doesn’t exist.

Had my sons 18th part in there. In the buildup to the party we heard musings that we may have issues so me and my partner went to the venue the day before to iron any issues out and spoke with the “manager” (I use that term loosely) and all seemed to be ok, worth mentioning we agreed to pay a “bouncer” (again use the term loosely as he couldn’t work the door at a kids 10 year old party)

Party started off fine couple of locals were allowed to stay even though it was supposed to be a private party and even though all of our guests were challenged to show invite to the party as it got to about 8:30pm 3 locals got into the party and was leering at the women in the party as there was a lot of my nieces and nephews there who were youngsters I became concerned so I challenged it (as oppose to the bouncer challenging them) they left voluntarily after I spoke with them.

Coincidentally about 10 mins later the bar manager was telling everyone he’d had messages from the owner as he’s watching cctv (weird) and all the kids have to leave not anyone under 18 but anyone under the age of 9 🤣🤷🏻‍♂️bare in mind although it was my sons 18th he wasn’t even 18 yet himself this was never communicated to us before the party and was told to us at 8:50 this completely ruined the party as with most parties this was a family do and we would never have had the hire of the place if we had known it wasn’t private or no kids after 9pm. More and more locals started to get let in trying to eat the fantastic buffet that was laid on for us (dans scran and nothing to do with the lounge) we even had a local trying to sell us cigarettes that some how crept passed the bouncer. AVOID like the plague wouldn’t go into this place again if you paid me and it was the only place on planet earth you could get a drink. Place should be renamed “the circus at boldemere” as it’s ran by clowns the owner blames the manager and the manager blames the owner on conclusion they...

Thieves!!!! ⚠️ that's all there is to it really. my mother booked this room for her granddaughters 21st birthday and was told that's fine no other issues just have to pay £100 for a bouncer and come up to have a look at the room. she went a viewed the room and went ahead with paying said £100. everything okay and going well with communication as we were also going to have one of their recommended DJs. fast forward to a week before the party and the manager messages my mom saying as discussed you will use half of the room as the other half is for the public and all children need to be out by 8.30pm. I can assure you this was never discussed previously as there is a witness. my mother has then messaged and said unfortunately this doesn't suit us and I will have to try find somewhere else and could I please get the money back for the bouncer as he will not be needed, needless to say Shaun the manager has ignored my moms messages so therefore I will be taking this to trading standards. how do you take money from a pensioner is beyond me. we did find a venue to cater for what we needed but this places management...
