I booked a table here last night for my wife's birthday party of 4 I must say it was absolutely horrendous , we got there for 7:15pm we placed our drink orders around 7: 20 pm 40 minutes later I had to walk up to the bar at 8pm to find out where our drinks was there was nobody serving at the bar but I noticed our drinks was just sat on a drinks plate on the bar so.i got them and brought them over to our table they was sat there that long the ice had melted , around 8 : 15 pm a young black waitress ( forgive me don't know her name ) look like she did not even want to be there, asked us if want we wanted to order when we placed Our order she turned around and said we couldn't order that because there was no food in stock which after nearly 1 hour sat there so i asked to see the manager ( Ben I think) he came over and said we can order the food we wanted so we did in the meantime they gave us 4 bowls so we could get some salad , wow what can I say it was horrendously shocking I will.put video up of what I seen (sauce area) we came back to our table food (3 plates of trio of chicken) arrived very quickly we was surprised, so we got stuck into it next thing you know I felt a weird sensation in my mouth I spat the food out into a tissue and it was raw chicken 3 plates of raw chicken breast 9 breast in total I got up and seen the manager (ben) I asked him could he come over to the table as we have been served raw chicken he quickly came over and acknowledged the the chicken was raw in the middle in all the pieces of chicken breast (9 in total ) he did apologise but he was very reluctant to apologise but he did , he asked do we want anything else we all declined the 4 of us, we came back home and I got up through the night and I was literally vomiting 🤢 I have called my doctor surgery this morning to get an appointment if I find out from the doctor that I have food poisoning from the chicken that I had eaten before I noticed it was raw I am going seek legal advice for compensation because the service you provided and the experience that we had in your restaurant and the food that you served is absolutely unforgivable you literally can kill people with the raw chicken you served I did notice Ben (manager) I think call 1 of the chef out of the kitchen and he must of had a word with him , the biggest regret that I have was not getting video footage of the raw food that we was served as I did record the sauce area ( disgusting) as I was appauled ,....once again thankyou for ruining my wife birthday meal I will not be back again and if the raw chicken that I did eat before I realised it was raw has anything to do with the vomiting I had most of the night and this morning as I have even writing this review I will be seeking legal advice for compensation.... I would advise the people who own the harvester to employ people who want to work with a smile because if I'm honest no one person who was serving us including Ben look like they did not want to be there ......

Awful made our orders after being told we couldn't have half a rotisserie chicken which was what we wanted it's a limited menu they don't do a Sunday roast so I thought I'll make do with chicken but no they haven't put enough on even though they had a party of 25 people booked for 4pm, so I reluctantly ordered a mix grill they then came out 10 minutes later and said we can't do that either because we don't even have a quarter rotisserie either which comes with it, then they changed to a chicken breast instead which I felt forced into as I'd already paid for the food (would have preferred to not eat at this point), anyway chicken breast it is I asked for it to have BBQ sauce on chicken breast as no flavour without skin etc it then came out without sauce on and was the smallest piece of rubbery chicken breast I'd seen not a sufficient replacement for a quarter chicken and half the items were also stone cold, they also gave my wife a beef burger when she had ordered a chicken one. No discount offered no apology poor service all round we only seen a member of staff when they dropped the food off nobody even asked how it was we was in a side room and didn't get a service and I was eating out with family who actually work there so you'd of thought they would have made an effort for their colleagues at least! Several members of our group had items cold and forgotten items even forgotten meals it was an all round shambles. The salad area was also a massive disappointment not fresh. I've said to the family we will not be going back there again! Development the restaurant responded to my review by asking me to call them so I did they then said can you read your review to us so we know which one so I did they then said we will get the person who's dealing with it to call me back and guess what they didn't call back! It's now been two days, this place has took bad service to another level. Finally received an email from the restaurant they made no attempt to resolve or make amends in anyway you could hardly even call it an apology. So if they leave you a message on here saying to call them to resolve I wouldn't bother because they don't actually care or do anything.

I was totally disgusted and totally confused as to why we were turned away from the Harvester restaurant. 2 adults and 3 children. arrived at 11:38am. on 17/08/17 for family lunch before going cinema. Was greeted by a female middle-aged member of staff with glasses. we asked for a table for five. She first asked if we were there for breakfast or lunch? We replied Lunch as we knew we were too late for breakfast. She replied that we were running a bit behind today and asked us to come back in 25 min. Told us to go shopping. Well, 1st off, we didn't want to go shopping. 2nd go shopping were. Boldmere aint exactly the Bullring, is it... We started to leave when she said she would sort us a table right by the main door. I said I didn't want a table by the door because of the draft and cigarette smoke / smell. She replied, "You dont get a draft anymore as the door opens sideways now?? She seemed very put out that I refused that table. I didn't like her attitude, and her customer care needs improving a lot. I told her we would leave it and not return. Surely we could have sat down inside or even outside in the garden seating area, It wasn't that busy. We could have ordered a had a drink and waited the 25 minutes, instead we were sent away to do some shopping. so we took our business elsewhere message to management, your staff need more training & you need to be held responsible for your stuff actions. Turning Away paying customers and guests is not going to earn your business a profit, in future I'll start looking elsewhere before considering revisiting the Harvester Visited again in November 2024. Food was very good, and service was also a massive improvement from previous visits. There has been a big refurbishment. We did have a small issue with a very dirty glass that had lipstick on the rim, and when complained, it was changed but offered nothing else as a way of an apology. The price for food has increased. My steak in my mixed grill. Was very fatty. A child broke a bowl at the salade area which was left there on the floor for 1 & half until it was cleaned up. Male toilets are still disgusting with a urinal leaking all over the floor

I was totally disgusted and totally confused as to why we were turned away from the Harvester restaurant. 2 adults and 3 children. arrived at 11:38am. on 17/08/17 for family lunch before going cinema. Was greeted by a female middle-aged member of staff with glasses. we asked for a table for five. She first asked if we were there for breakfast or lunch? We replied Lunch as we knew we were too late for breakfast. She replied that we were running a bit behind today and asked us to come back in 25 min. Told us to go shopping. Well, 1st off, we didn't want to go shopping. 2nd go shopping were. Boldmere aint exactly the Bullring, is it... We started to leave when she said she would sort us a table right by the main door. I said I didn't want a table by the door because of the draft and cigarette smoke / smell. She replied, "You dont get a draft anymore as the door opens sideways now?? She seemed very put out that I refused that table. I didn't like her attitude, and her customer care needs improving a lot. I told her we would leave it and not return. Surely we could have sat down inside or even outside in the garden seating area, It wasn't that busy. We could have ordered a had a drink and waited the 25 minutes, instead we were sent away to do some shopping. so we took our business elsewhere message to management, your staff need more training & you need to be held responsible for your stuff actions. Turning Away paying customers and guests is not going to earn your business a profit, in future I'll start looking elsewhere before considering revisiting the Harvester Visited again in November 2024.
