Jenno's Coffee House - Blaby — Restaurant in Blaby

This review is for the Everard Meadow place...I go to Jenno’s loads in Blaby like this place a lot although I think the drinks price’s have crept up and they seem to be pushing garnish all the time now for around 80p which is just a spoon of Sainsbury coleslaw!. Anyway decided to take a trip to Everards Meadow at the weekend we had heard they were selling alcohol too👍🏼so I thought We would have a glass of wine and a bottle of beer lovely set out place really 👍🏼 Nice but on the hole disappointed after that.! The acoustics are terrible ! place wasn’t that busy but we couldn’t seem to hear ourselves talk very well on a normal level I would imagine it’s a lot worse when full. Also very disappointed with the service of alcohol none of the staff mainly very young and inexperience this showed they didn’t even know what a Pinot or a Peroni was she looked at me lost she ended up showing me the bottles and asking me to identify the wine in the end she found an older member of staff but this is a bit of a letdown considering they advertise that they sell alcohol. We love Jenno's, they don't cost the earth, or try to shift cr@ppy coffee, they have a great selection of cakes, and pastries etc, and who wouldn't love that? The place is always spotless, it's really well decorated, and furnished. The staff are fantastic, they're all really helpful, and...they make a decent brew, which you'd obviously expect...but...you'd be surprised how many coffee shops don't get this right. Really glad they have outdoor seating too, as I really don't like to always have to sit inside. Is one the nicest coffee houses in this area. There is plenty of space,outside and inside, where you can serve a warm coffee or a deluxe hot chocolate which the best hot chocolate ever, some warm sandwiches, soups, all kind of cakes,donuts, crisps or biscuits. They also have dog treats which is really nice. They also serve ice cream which is really good. I bought this time a Caramel Cream Frappe and a Chicken BBQ panini which is really good.
