This is a typical working man/women’s pub that offers a typical menu. The food was fantastic value for money, I had a really good mixed grill and my wife had a pie and chips, the pie must have been home made or locally made, it certainly didn’t look or taste factory made, both meals were served with home made chips that tasted just like the ones my mum used to make in her old chip pan, they were fantastic. We had phoned ahead and the landlady allowed us to park our camper van overnight in the pub car park, this had the most fantastic view. I would definitely recommend the Bluebell in for its pub grub and the small pub gardens view.
