Golden Grill — Restaurant in Bolsover

I've ordered from here multiple times so I can give an acurate review. Basically it's a lottery if you get OK food or food that should be thrown in the bin. My last order I ordered meal deal mixed shot 3. The chips were small and the only thing edible. We had about ten each. The pizza had hardly any topping the sause was disgusting, the pizza base was not deep pan as ordered. My chicken kabab meat looked like leftovers from the night before and we're sliced very thinly, they were dry as a bone and had no flavor, the garlic mayo ordered we didn't get and the salad had one half slice of cucumber and tomato the rest was onion and soggy lettuce. Same with the lamb kabab. Everything was cold dispite delivering within an hour. It all went in the bin and I was out of pocket £40 and I'll never order from here again. Rip off. I don't know how they dare serve food unfit for a dog. My opinion is they use leftovers from the night before because no way that food was fresh. They need new staff and or manager. Spent just £29.35 I had the 2 x1/4lb burgers 🍔 and chips meal deal and lamb shish ordered at 7pm didn't turn up till 9pm after a phone call after an hr and 1/2 to find out where it was 😡 it's come and its cold surprise the shish is that hard I can't chew it the garlic bread was stone cold and there was more cold cheese that pizza the onion rings oily and stone cold the chips where stone cold and didn't look or smell appetising the burger was luke warm and only just edible what a waste of gd money absolutley will never order from them again and this was a Wednesday night not even a busy one xx p.s I recieved a message from the owner who apologised for my meal and gave us a £30 voucher to spend as we wanted and we had another order which was on time and was very nice indeed we ordered to burger meal garlic bread and garlic mushrooms everything was hot and tasted great so maybe it was a...

Good shop not sure it's the same people that had it last time I went in which was over 5 years ago.

Either way pleasantly surprised clean shop, friendly staff and the food was of a quality I would expect.

Keep it up not many places do Bolognese pizza anymore and I enjoyed it.

Update 240922 Ordered for a collection gave the fellow on the phone a time he said be ready in 15 minutes I said no you have an hour he said OK. I turned up no food, think they sent it elsewhere he knew who I was told me to give him 5 minutes he would make another one. I declined and won't be going back.
