As walking in atmosphere a little unwelcoming, was asked if we had booked, wich we had and booked a child seat , the nice young lady that took us to our table asked if we had booked a child seat and said straight away with , well you can’t have one if you haven’t, but we had, the lady came back with a seat for the child but I told her to take it away as we no longer needed it as we were all settled in our seats already not a good start, we was then approached by the owner /manager saying by the way you can’t have the special half price even though it was Monday , we didn’t even know it was half price on a Monday but it did say it on all the menu’s false advertising springs to mind , he threw the drinks’s list at us gave us seconds to ordered our drinks , no welcome smile nothing very obtuse with us from start, just got worse from there , we asked very politely for some olives 🫒 by the lovely lady with blond hair she was very good indeed , but she came back worryingly said I’m sorry we have no olives left in disbelief herself tbh 🤦♀️🤔 what! a so call Italian having no olives right ok 🤦♀️, so we were so confused by this time , our starters came , I ordered brucetta well it came a tiny piece of bread not chard , no olive oil no decoration at all ,not very appealing it had 4 cherry tomatoes cut in half and I 5 tiny pieces of red onion on , that was it , never ever had a brucetta like that in my life , he moaned that we asked for just a prawn cocktail but no sauce. My grandson doesn’t like the sauce but likes the salad ,and prawns , the manager gave us some right attitude he was terrible 😞 made my 12 year old grandson feel terrible he cried it was that bad , main was ok food taste wise but we got attitude again when asked for another garlic bread for my youngest grandson he’s 3 the man said to us “no you can’t the ovens are full 😡 “what is that about , absolutely disgusting behaviour that wasn’t it all to be honest, desserts don’t ask he wasn’t pleased we only wanted two ice creams for the boys that didn’t go down well , I could say lots more that happened with his attitude towards us all , and from an owner of a restaurant was disappointing to say the least , I wanted to walk out a number of times but we were very civilised and stayed to the end of the meal , paid in full not worth any payment at all as it spoilt our whole night , we were there just about an hour and half which were to long for all of us to honest sorry but this is an honest opinion we will never dine in there again , and will not encourage anyone...

There’s no doubt that the food at Casa Fresco is excellent, but the management’s attitude is appalling. Our experience was nothing short of frustrating and disappointing.
We received £30 worth of vouchers as a Christmas gift, purchased directly from the restaurant. On our first visit, we ordered from the evening deal—buy one pizza, get the second half price, plus two drinks. When it came time to pay, we were suddenly told that vouchers couldn’t be used on deals and were only valid for main meals. Despite feeling this was unfair (since the vouchers were pre-paid money), we reluctantly accepted it.
However, after leaving, I knew this wasn’t right.
On our second visit a week later, we specifically ordered from the main menu, as instructed. Yet when we went to pay, we were once again told we couldn’t use the vouchers! This time, I asked to speak to the manager, who was dismissive and unpleasant, simply repeating that vouchers weren’t valid on a “deal night”—despite the fact that we hadn’t ordered from any deal menu.
When I pointed this out, he arrogantly replied, “If you were told this last week, why did you come back?” An incredibly rude and unprofessional response.
I also made it clear that nowhere on the vouchers, menus, or at the entrance was there any mention of these restrictions. With an attitude, he turned his back on me and told the waitress to just deduct the £30.
Not once did we receive an apology for the confusion or poor customer service.
It’s a shame because the food is genuinely fantastic, but with management like this, I won’t be returning. A business should honor its own vouchers and treat paying customers...
Read moreAn honest review . Visited here on Friday night as a table of 8 . Quite cold inside and an open feeling . Lots of cobwebs . Some of us ordered starters my garlic and cheese mushroom dish had 8 slices of mushrooms and bland . My wife ordered a starter of halloumi fries she said they tasted nice but there was only 3 . Yes 3 halloumi fries on the plate . Our mains came my wife had calzone she said it was okay . I had lasagne and literally that’s what I got ! No salad or garlic bread or chips . Literally a portion of lasagne . When the girl with blue in her hair brought mains she asked who one of the dishes was for several of us said is it the one with salmon in she said no 4 times and continued to say the name of the dish she was getting angry at this point and just put it on the table after all the commotion and checking a menu it was the one with salmon in . I refused to give a tip due to her rudeness definetly in the wrong job . There was a young girl working her legs off all the other girls where constantly bossing her around she seemed to take it in her stride bless her . The fair haired lady was lovely and it was nice the chef came out the kitchen and asked if everything was okay with the food . I can honestly say we won’t be returning due to tiny portion sizes( except the calzone )and the...
