Ayaans — Restaurant in Bolton

Saturday, 12th October 2024 I booked a table for 8 I had decided to take my work colleagues to Bolton (From Blackburn) I got there for 6:30 pm straight after work

Upon arriving the car park across the restaurant was shut so we had to park the car in Asda car park, which is only for 2hrs

Unfortunately, three of our colleagues where running late, but we still placed the orders and placed orders for the 3 people who where running late

30 min later my colleagues arrived within minutes their food was served so we all started looking at each other thinking what’s going on here? I got up and I asked they said give me five minutes. I’ll find out half an hour later we’re still waiting for our food so I got up again. I asked they said give me two minutes and I will find out for you. It’s now 8:10 pm still no sign of food so I got up again for the 3rd time because I started to see people coming in from behind and getting there food and we were still sat there waiting for Ours the 3rd attempt I said I’ve only got two hours parking and I have 15 min left and there’s still no sign for our food what’s going on? At this point I was already annoyed as this was embarrassing. I felt like I forced my work colleagues to come to this place only to look like a fool at the same time I had to be somewhere so I couldn’t wait any longer and no way I was gonna have my food within 15 minutes. As My Car needed to be moved

Then the owner or whoever it was who was serving behind the counter came up to tell me that there’s been a mixup with your order and you need to give us a bit more time I think 1hr 45 minutes was more than enough time for The restaurant to rectify something I did give him an opportunity to pack my food so I can go as I said before I needed to be somewhere. It’s now 8:20 still no sign for the food. Then I got up and I left and I said to him I’m sorry I gotta go and cancel my order so I left a restaurant without eating so I sat there for nearly 2 hours only to not get served well done, great service 👏

I have come to this place before with my friends. never had a problem like this I loved the food loved everything but the second time I went it was embarrassing. Me and my 8 other friends were supposed to come again on Friday.the 18th oct 2024 not happening now as I have made it clear, I won’t be coming to this place ever again thank you once again for ur great service

Even after I left my other three colleagues did not get their food for another 25 minutes wow this was a work meal very embarrassing but never again

Unfortunately this is the kind of world we live right now, even when it was their mistake, they still charged my work colleagues over £160 for me that’s just...

So, firstly the food was immense.....IMMENSE!!!!! but the service and attitude of the staff was (to put bluntly) horrendous!

I placed an order to collect by phone, the female member of staff who I spoke to was not helpful nor aware of the foods they have on their menu and didn't have a good telephone manner. I arrived 1 hour after placing my order to stand waiting for a further 30 minutes whilst being barged out of the way every 2 minutes by rushing waiters!, being lied to as to when I will get my food. Not one of the 5 staff members cared to acknowledged me for 10 minutes even though I was the only one stood at the counter.

They just want payment by cash, no card! Which isn't practical for customers and is to only dodge the tax let's face it!

The owner struck me as very greedy and couldn't have cared less about me as an individual, he was more interested in grabbing the cash from everyone and counting it over and over. Not a very good look especially in plain sight.

There were used plates all over the floor stacked on top of each other everywhere.

Some serious Re-think of the front of house needs to be undertaken, some discretion with handling money and maintaining cleanliness. Staff need to work on being polite and a smile wouldn't hurt.

The owner needs to get it sorted! It appears his skills are a little weak in these areas.

The staff were running round like headless chickens and looked very unhappy.

The service let a FANTASTIC meal down,...

travelled from bradford.heard its v good.good looking restaurant although refurbing but nice.we were family got a table for 10 straight away every thing was good.we ordered tawa for 6 and a matka pizza.(which is not a pizza.piece of nan bread in a pot on top of it chicken which is used for curries nd cheese melted on top)so pizza without pizza base nd pizza souce.then a group of gentlemen came and sat 1table away from us .they strated talking and laughing so loudly that our kids got scared and started crying i was expecting the waiter will tell them to calm down but even waiter was throwing jokes on them which made all of us uncomfortable .popdom pickle tray came there asian chutney is amazing .even never had as good as it was in any restaurant.food came tawa and the thing they called matka pizza.its taste was good to be honest but plz give it someother name.food was cooked perfactely and very tasty.one of best food i had in an restaurant and remember m a chef myself.5 stars for food taste.but only 6 piece of nan which is 1.5 nan for 6 people and they charge 80 pounds.no value of money portion wise but worth it taste wise.will definately recommend and come again.but management plz tell the staff to take care of other customers comfort.your food is beautiful but plz atleast give enough nans with tawa.beautiful...
