Popped in to grab myself & my Son a meal, while I was ordering our food I heard a few ppl complain that their burgers were warm & rubbery. After I ordered my food I went to the counter to wait for my food but I also wanted to ask for fresh food. I spoke to one of the girl's that were serving & i asked her if I could have fresh food & I told her why, she left to go & speak to the manager/supervisor to tell them that I don't want the food from under the lamps I wanted my food fresh, a few mins later the young girl comes bk & tells me that she's just spoken to her manager/supervisor & unfortunately he said that the food under the lamps has only been there for 5mins so therefore there's no reason why I can't have the food under the lamps, so I asked the girl if I could speak to her manager/supervisor, A few mins later this guy turns up with the young girl & straightaway he jumped down my throat demanding to know why I need more food to be cooked when that food has only been cooked for around 5-10mins & I told him what I'd heard to which he called me a liar & demanded that I point out this person that you heard talking about the food, but when I looked they'd already left unfortunately & when I said that he just laughed & walked away, he spent that much time causing a scene that when he buggered off they'd just put fresh fries up & the rest of the food I'd ordered was fresh & piping hot. As for the guy's attitude it was disgusting ... Read moreI recently visited McDonald’s at 93 Derby St, Daubhill, Bolton BL3 6HH, and sadly, the experience was disappointing, warranting a two-star rating. The service was notably poor. I wanted a vegetable or vegan breakfast option with a muffin, but there was no staff at the front till. No signage indicated to press the bell for attention (your right hand side next to the till), which another customer eventually did to summon someone from the kitchen. When I explained my dietary needs, the staff member didn’t listen properly and offered an allergen chart instead of addressing my request for vegan or vegetarian breakfast options. Frustrated, we used the touchscreen kiosk to order ourselves. Unfortunately, one breakfast meal arrived missing a hash brown, and when we opened our McMuffin, the food was carelessly prepared, with ingredients spilling outside the muffin, which was unappealing (picture attached) and adding to the disappointment.
On a positive note, the restaurant’s cleanliness was commendable, and the book section for kids was a nice touch, providing some entertainment. However, despite the large size of this McDonald’s, the service didn’t match its scale. Staff need to improve attentiveness and communication to enhance the customer experience. I’d only recommend this location if you’re desperately hungry and have low expectations for service. Overall, they need to work on their customer care to make visits more enjoyable.

We do orders a few times a month and in over 20 orders + we have had an issue with McDonald Delivery.
Wrong Items are not the issue really. Its the lack of items that's the problem!
We order as an office and yet again today! a whole persons meal is missing meaning the office is munching away and this person has nothing but they're money back (eventually) and you cant just reorder so be warned don't let your uber driver complete the order until you check it.
And don't bother ringing the store as they're useless staff wont help you they're either and send you back to uber without even an apology for the starving member of staff watching us all eat!
It doesn't stop there if this staff member then wants to reorder they have a refund back within 24 hours usually that's great you say - didn't receive it didn't pay for it. Fair enough but they have no food! so they then need to repay another £3.50 delivery fee to get the food they wanted in the first place.
two lots of delivery for what should have come in the first place and don't count on getting a penny of that back from either store!
