Antons Café Bar — Restaurant in Borough of Fylde

Having endured Blackpool it was a pleasure to drive into St Anne’s, we parked in the multi-storey car park and went to explore the town.

Having spent sometime walking around we looked for lunch, this is an attractive little cafe with seating outside. We found a space and went in, there is a surprisingly extensive menu, and the service is friendly and efficient. All food is cooked to order, so there is some delays but it is worth it

I had a club sandwich which was tasty and my parented went for the salmon and pawn salad, this was generously proportioned and excellent.

Been coming here for about 7 years. Always enjoyed it but today the food took a very long time. We didn't get what we asked for and when they returned with our food they had not put any thought into its presentation at all. It felt as though they threw it together in anger at getting it wrong first time around. Also been ordering this same item for years and it normally comes really well put together with crisps on the side. Again I think we got ours the way we did due to them having made an error. Not what I have come to expect from Antons. I don't mind but it's not...

Having moved to the town last year, my wife and I would often go for breakfast there, as we did when we used to visit on holiday. The food and service was usually very good. We will not be returning to Antons! For future reference: if a customer orders a piece of well done toast, do not serve them a piece of warm bread, done on one side! If the customer returns the toast as not what they ordered, do NOT charge them for it! Maybe you may retain some new customers! I was always polite, courteous and tipped...
