The Ducks Nuts — Restaurant in Borough of Fylde

WOW this little establishment is one of the best restaurants that I have ever has the pleasure of eating in !! From start to finish the atmosphere in the Ducks Nut tapas bar is so friendly and you feel at home straight away.. the four of us ordered fish fritters, the beef fillet ,king Prawns chicken tenderloins, spicy chicken wings ,2 fries and the superb onion rings !! The food was delicious and definitely some of the best food that I have ever had, faultless I have to say . Portion size was very generous and service was impeccable, and really friendly and helpful with telling us about the menu !! The Drink choice was amazing and the prices also very cheap I had a lovely bottle of sauvignon Blanc at brilliant price of £14.99 cheapest I've seen in ages .. this place is a defo must if you want a fantastic experience 10 out of 10 all day long defo going...

Popped in here for lunch a while back with my wife and kids as family who live locally had recommended it. They seated us around a coffee table in the corner, despite us saying we were there to eat and when we tried to move to a more comfortable table the chef became very irate and tried to move our newborn sons pram whilst he slept even though we hadn’t actually sat down yet. Very odd behaviour given that it was midday and the restaurant was empty. It was abundantly clear we weren’t welcome as we had come with our kids so we left, in and out in five minutes! Maybe put up a sign saying adults only so as not to waste people’s time? Honestly the most hostile reception at a restaurant I’ve ever experienced and I wouldn’t be returning with or without kids. Went today as a last minute decision and we were not disappointed……. A very friendly welcome, attentive service, and really enjoyed the food, beef schnitzel was perfect, I’m always a bit dubious of it being chewy, but it was spot on, tender and tasty, a lovely fresh dressed salad, my hub had the prawns, then I was jealous!! They were delicious and chunky ! A lovely light well cooked batter, nice and crisp, even the chips were crisp and fluffy, you can’t go wrong with chips I hear you say ??? Oh you can, but these were perfect chips !! We will definitely be back with Aaron !
