Food was stunning, service was poor. Sat 23rd March 2024 7:30pm-10pm Party of 7.

Not a bad thing to say about the food, it was delicious. Complementary dessert for the 'birthday boy' was a nice touch and appreciated. Thank you.

Service was poor, more specifically from the young lad who was serving us, and from the organisation and communication between him and the kitchen. (The lady who was assisting in our service was lovely.) The young lad was very blunt when asking him questions, service without a smile, very unapologetic and whether intentional or not was coming across quite rude and giving direct answers and made no effort to understand our needs.

We sat down at 7:30pm, food order taken at 8pm, everyone finally got their food by 9:20pm. All food was ordered at the same time, and was requested for all food to be served together at the same time. However our food was incredibly staggered and no logic to the order of food that was coming out.

Some food was coming out with the wrong rice, so we had the mains, but waited 10 minutes for the rice. Or we had the rice, but waited 10 minutes for the mains/curry. The final dish that came out was wrong, but didn't want to wait for a fresh one as the rest of us were near the end of our meals, so she just didn't want to correct it.

I'm very particular, but even something as simple as asking us if we want more drinks when all of our glasses had been empty for 10-20 minutes, that should be pretty basic service. Or even asking how are meals are, that was never said.

My verdict seems to be that the business struggles with catering to large groups. The basic service you expect from a restaurant was lacking. If you go on a date for 2, you're probably safe. High recommend to anyone looking for a beautifully decorated restaurant which offers a cosy atmosphere and amazing quality food! I absolutely loved the decor it was so beautiful and so much thought had gone into it, from all the sea murals to the candles… so much to look at an I was pleasantly surprised when I walked in !! The food was just amazing, some of the best food I’ve tasted!!!

Can’t recommend it enough, everyone on the tables around us were complementing!!

We attended on Friday as a group of 4 for dinner.

The food was amazing! We ordered a mix of ‘picky bits’ (Satay Skewers / Ribs / Duck Sushi rolls) and some mains (Drunken Noodles / Crispy Pork Belly / Sleeping Tiger) and we enjoyed it all.

The service was brilliant too, everyone was so friendly and we had recommendations on the menu of what to order.
