The Trawl Boat Inn — Restaurant in Borough of Fylde

Visited 5 times before writing this review. The food and drink have been good each time and brought fast by friendly, focused, and experienced staff. My concern, and I do hope someone from the management picks up on this is the unchecked behaviour of some of the 'guests'. ( This is more of a place for older people and families. ) Upon arrival, you are almost always greeted by the same two or three dirty, smelly looking individuals who are blocking, swearing and smoking right outside the front doors. Do we really need to ask these rather unpleasant individuals to move each time we exist and enter? Is loitering immediately outside the main doors a good and safe place for them to stand? The outside area has a designated area for people who want to smoke, could they not be told to stand there? The doorways should really be kept free. While I realise that these guys probably spend all day every day drinking and smoking at the Trawl Boat, does that mean management are OK with everyone else feeling uncomfortable? If the Weatherspoons management are worth their salt, they will check outside regularly and point out to visitors that loud swearing and blocking the doors is really...

On the 10th April 2017 I came in with my husband for a meal after work I had ham egg and chips my husband had steak pudding chips n peas my eggs were cold I sent them back only to find that the kitchen manager sent the same eggs back but warmed them up in a microwave I was raging I sent them back again only this time he refused point blank to replace my eggs I was even more angry by then I would like something done about this it's not the first time it's almost every time I go in I have an intolerance towards gluten and you don't have much choice of food so that is the reason why I have ham egg n chips if I don't hear any within 14 says I'm taking it further I've also got a photograph of one of the eggs I've put on here this was 2 months ago highly discussing isn't it would you eat this crap I wouldn't even give it to the birds so I recommend you sort your kitchen staff out at the trawl boat before someone is poisoned I would also like some compensation for my...

On several visits to this nice bar which i consider as a local i have found nice, but on this night (tuesday 5th march 2024) was very different. I went here with a friend who i had only met a few hours previous and you could clearly see he was barred from this establishment for whatever reason even though they served him and myself when we were at the bar. But when i got to the bar later it was a different story as they thought i had too much to drink like my friend and would not serve me a last orders drink which i clearly stated i had not drank as much as my friend as i was only on my 5th drink by then (4 was had in another pub) but this miserable of a manager said she would not serve me because she thought i was drunk like my friend which i know the guys behind the bar know who i am. I never cause trouble. I never got any backup from the guy behind the bar which is annoying. By not being served was not my problem i still could have been served instead...
