Top marks in all categories, the food was great, we had the 5 course taster menu at £50 and it was delicious. Being a taster menu you only got small portions so we wasn't overly full at the end of 5 courses. Unusual combinations ie. Pear and Gorgonzola ice cream and curried parsnip and pears but it all went together really well. You can have a 7 course taster menu which includes another middle course and a cheese board for £65. Matched wines are an additional £40pp. Nb. You can only have these if ALL the guests at the table are having the same. I don't eat meat so they happily swapped the partridge course for the goat's cheese pithivier from the main menu. It's not cheap, cost us (£70pp, incl. Drinks) but it's worth it. Lovely modern decor all whites, grey and black. Sorry I've not more photos inside but the place was busy. Make sure you book, especially if it's towards the weekend. I'll...

The food here is top notch, went for Thursday supper club, had bread and beetroot hummus, Fishcakes starter, mussles and the burger all beautifully presented, great value for money. The atmosphere was great as it was busyish . The only thing was the service Wasent great, 20 mins at the table and no drink order taken, we were In 50 minutes before we had our food, the staff were polite and apologised but blamed the kitchen but once food came out it was quick, we had to ask for extra drinks although they did ask if our food was OK a number of times. Because of this we decided not to leave a tip but we dident realise that a service charge had already been added to our bill and only realised after we had left, I don't mind tipping for goid service but it Wasent and we weren't verbally told the service charge had been applied. Would defenatly go back as the food...

It was my first time visiting this little gem of a restaurant. Simple, elegant decor and furnishings create a relaxed calming atmosphere. I chose the soup which was smoked bacon and celeriac and tasted so divine, I could happily have had a vat of it, that came with a black pudding bread roll, which added another level of flavour to the dish. For my main I chose the Asian duck salad, which came with paprika fries and curry mayonnaise. The duck leg was confited perfectly, falling off the bone, and the skin was crispy all over. Another dish I could not fault. The staff were polite and friendly without being in your face. I will definitely be coming back, as there were so many other dishes I...

Exceptional GemNi. A gem of a place with nothing short of outstanding. An absolute taste sensation, set in the heart of Rawtenstall, overlooking the bustling market. Seated upstairs, we opted for the northern delight of Black Pudding Wontons and Charred Feta and Tomato Salad to start, followed by Tomahawk Steak for 2. Quite possibly one of the finest cuts of steak we've ever had. Finished with the White Chocolate Mousse, which was lite and fluffy and perfectly tasty. We can't wait to return. We'd like to try the tasting menu on our next visit.
