Three of us went to Eat Thai Restaurant this past Tuesday for dinner at around 7PM. We took chicken soup, lamb curry, stir fried scallops and broiled & marinated pork, all excellent and good taste. Meaning, hot and spicy when they are supposed to be that way. Prior to delivering the food, the waiter brings each of us the plates that are well warmed up, which is another plus. The total price for three of us together (each of us took two bottles of Singha, in addition, btw) was 80 GBP.
The only downside is that for some reason it took them a long while to prepare the food. It was a wait for 15 mins after finishing the soup, before the first plate coming. The place was only 2/3 full at that time, so I am not sure why. Otherwise I'd have given...

But the set menu's at lunch time at absolutely amazing and only £8, although only a few choices, they do it well. Green Curry and pakthai are my fav. Food is spot on everytime and they are happy to alter the meal even on the set menu to cater for you. (warning thai food is normally hot, so becareful when asking for extra spicy, its hot!)
This is now a weekly place. and its the first restaurant that serves the same consistancy each time.
Hint : ask them to change the fruitsalad in the set menu...
Read moreI've been there twice in the last two weeks. In terms of quality the food was good the first time and okay the second one. In terms of quantity I found the portions quite small. The waiters are ok, one is trying to be very polite, the other doesn't seem to care much. The service is ok for a restaurant. You order and you're being served, nothing exceptional.
It's a good choice if you want to go on a date, and you are too tired to go out of Egham. I don't think it's worth the price for...
