I am Italian, and I am always eager to eat like I do at home.
Here at Villa Rosa, I found the best solution ever.
The main points that has led my friends and I, to go there when we have to eat dinner are:
Finally! Italians that run Italian restaurant. Believe me, I've been to every single Italian restaurant around egham and englefield, and it's really hard to find truly Italians running the business!
As a matter of fact, the food is delicious! The pizza tastes like the one you can have in Italy. The pasta always and always and always cooked "al dente" , otherwise it's pointless to eat.
Perfect prices. For a student, it is affordable!
The service is really quick! You can wait up to 10min Max for a pizza and 10-12 min for the main courses. In other words: I'm hungry, I don't want to wait too much. Here, the problem doesn't exist
Everything here, has a little touch of south Italian flavour, that is the perfect combination for an excellent dinner!
I have been to Villa Rosa approximately 20-25 times. Never got disappointed!
If it's good Italian food and have a giggle with your fiends and the staff, that you are searching for, Villa Rosa is the right place! ;-)

Read moreWent there on a Sunday afternoon after seeing the reviews. Not busy at all. Straight away the "greeting" was a tad cold and forced like they don't want us to come in. No smiles, no small talk no nothing. They just took us to the table. The "restaurant" didn't look fancy and a bit scrubby. Not table cloths, wobbly tables. Cheap in every way possible. Not the menu that is. Shame they didn't state in there that chicken and stake comes as a stand alone slab of meat without anything. No salad, potatoes, dressing, sauces....nothing. Just a slab of cooked meat. Enjoy. £15 each.... we got additional salad and chips (extra cost around £3-5 each) few drinks (2 red wines and 2 beers - £20) and a tiramisu (£8?)... or what was supposed to be a tiramisu. I wouldn't complain if the prices and service wasn't so ridiculous. And they even had the audacity to ask for tips at the end. We paid and walked out and not even a good bye from any of the staff members. I'm amazed that people...
Read moreI visited Villa Rosa as part of a group booking (40 people) and it was myself that was arranged it. The staff were very helpful, especially Pasquale who I dealt with over email to confirm pre orders. We were well looked after and they made sure our dietary requirements were catered for. The food was served very quickly and it was delicious. I have recently returned from a holiday to Italy and the food I had at Villa Rosa was nicer than anything I had when I was away! I had the Spaghetti ai Broccoli, but everyone else said their food was amazing too. The portions are very generous. The only reason I have only given 4 stars for atmosphere is because we were such a big group so I'm not sure what the atmosphere was actually like outside of the group. Our visit was during the Euros and they even put the football on a small screen for customers to watch. Overall we had a really nice evening at Villa Rosa, unfortunately I am not local but if I am ever in the area again I...
