Costa Coffee — Restaurant in Borough of Runnymede

Worse costa I've ever been too. We purchased coffees & food while we were eating we were asked to leave, in other words leave the food & go, I asked if we could finish our food but she told us to leave standing our us, how despicable of her she was very rude stud on my head just about with a broom in her hand, when we purchased the food they should have told us they were closing soon, not serve us then order us to leave. Never in my years using Costa have I experienced service like this. We had to leave our food & leave. The place looked like it hadn't been looked after in years. Went there a few times in the past few years. Coffee was alright but the staff there were exceptionally cold and rude. Once they even tolerated a person (caucasian male) cut in the queue and the only person before him was me.

Flies in the cake cabinet. When I pointed this out I was told ‘they’re everywhere these days.’ The next customer also commented on the flies. I contacted customer service online and was offered points/beans as a ‘gesture of goodwill’ which would have got me half a cup of coffee. I declined and won’t be returning.
