Inferno's Pizza & Pasta Buffet — Restaurant in Borough of Runnymede

Visited here in the beginning of August as we heard they done Gluten free pizza’s of the buffet. When we arrived there was only a few others in the restaurant. We asked for our gluten free pizzas too be made, no problem. We then got told too help ourselves to salad whilst we waited. Considering the place was empty and we counted at least 20 staff members including supervisors, the salad bar was empty. We asked the supervisor if someone could refill for us which he was very polite and told us no problem. As the kitchen is open planned we saw him head towards a mixed raced girl to ask to do it, she started aggressively shouting at him saying it’s not her job and was very rude too him. We waited and waited and asked him again to which the rude girl started too refill it very slowly. All the counters were messy, ALL the staff were standing around talking when clearly the entire buffet needed cleaning as food debris every where, although the tables were clear, they were all dirty! There was Ants all in the drinks dispenser. Although when the food came out all speciallay prepared it tasted lovely and was clearly labelled as gluten free etc. There was only one lad and girl that towards the end started cleaning tables whilst clearly chatting and flirting which was fine at least they were getting work done amongst the other 20 odd staff that were doing nothing. The one supervisor/manager that did help us was great couldn’t fault him, he looked as though he was doing all the work and none of his team supported him. We did tell a lady as we was leaving with blonde hair dressed in black about the Ants but just sort of shrugged and followed us out walking the other way with someone so didn’t seem bothered. We visited on 9/8/19 around 4/5pm. The entire park was quiet all day, no que times, restaurants...

Visited the park on Friday, food based staff are appalling. Went to pizza and pasta buffet to be greated by a scruffy looking teenager who went 'you ask them' when we asked about gluten free options. No one around to ask and all 12 staff members where at back of house chatting. Found a manager who was very helpful but was disgustingly back chatted when he asked someone to do some work. Whilst at her job. Not one table was cleaned but the floor was poorly swept 4 times. Just clearly plates no sanatising. When someone did finally bring out some spray they sprayed it over bacon toppings which weren't discarded of. Heard a young girl ask say the drinks despensers to the left hand side where out of coke zero to which she was told use the other side and staff carried on chatting. Other side drinks dispenser had ants it was so filthy. Absolute shambles, way too many staff doing nothing. For the money charged, espically for the buffet, I would at least expect clean tables and a smile. Worked in food retail for 8 years, including running a pizza Hut and have never encountered such...

Absolutely shocking... 10 staff, 1 working... Filthy dirty salad trays, pasta trays{food baked on] pizza area fod bits and greese everywhere... scooping food with hands from tins to fill up the salad bar... No gloves😳 and even when I complained, they said that's what they were told to do... Because there were no gloves😳. The pizza cutting table looked like sweeny tots chopping table... Meat pizza being cut on the same table and same pizza cutter as the vege stuff.. No supervision [they were busy watching over the empty restaurant] not wiping down the filthy tables...or instructed the other 8 staff to clean front of house... I did my own Table.. most of the staff were teens or early 20s... But clearly not at a stage to be left un supervised... Or supervised by other peers... Your lucky I wasn't Gordon Ramsey, he'd of shut the filth hole down... BUT NOTHING THAT A GROWN UP MANAGER COULDN'T CHANGE... come on THORPE PARK MANAGEMENT, YOU MAKE A FORTUNE.. Where's the standards....
