Subway — Restaurant in Borough of Runnymede

Subway is my go-to place, but I would not recommend this shop in Egham. They try to minimise the cost of food.

For example, with steak and cheese, they shake the spoon for steak trying not to give us enough portion. Meanwhile, other branches try to put meat in a spoon with pressure to make sure they serve a good portion.

With vegies, they want to put as less as they want. With foot-long sandwich, I know they should give 6 tomato pieces, but the girl who was serving me refused to put more than 4 pieces, trying to disperse as much as she can, and saying there is no room. I had to ask several times to put 6 tomato pieces in total for a foot-long sandwich. (I know 6 pieces of tomato is the standard and we can add more with extra charge.) There is another girl who served me the other day, put 6 or 7 lettuce pieces for a foot-long sandwich, like dusting salt to meat, which literally made me think they do not want to treat customers well.

I do like subway sandwiches, but this branch gave me very unpleasent services. If you are going to Subway for eating vegies, then try not to go to this branch. If you are okay without vegies, then order some sandwiches includes salamy or something that you can count so that they cannot mess with...

Walked in with my boyfriend, I tried to order a sandwich, was told by a male member of staff that another female staff member will assist me (who was in the kitchen, not even behind the counter) and he started serving my boyfriend.
