First time and last time it was just ok.....I ordered a take away for myself, lamb chop starter at £6 this consisted of 3 mouthfuls of lamb and 20 mouthfuls of onion over the top. Garlic rice which just tasted of coconut and not garlic, a very sweet and un appetising chicken passanda a garlic naan this was by far the best item of my dinner. I asked for 2 popadoms and "all the chutmeys" at a princely sum of £5 for the said 2 popadoms and "all the chutneys" to find once I had returned home with my takeaway that "all the chutneys was in fact a lie....I had no mango chutney..... infact I had no chutney at all....I had some sad looking onion riatta and 2 pots of watery minty yoghurt.....thoroughly annoyed. I had a cobra while I waited for the worst curry I'd ever had to be prepared and all in all this cost me just shy of £30.....as I said first and last.....don't get me wrong the staff were friendly. But it was over priced and very...
Read moreI don’t normally write reviews, but felt compelled to write about this restaurant. If you want cold unseasoned undercooked poor quality food, at extortionate prices with bad waiter attitude and very very slow service then this is the place to go. We rang to prebook a table. When we arrived, we were shown to a small table by the window. We had to ask the waiters three times for a menu, which we were given 15 minutes later. Then a half hour wait for the food, which was put on the table with such a force that the cutlery ended up falling off the table. When asked about the food, we mentioned the food was cold and bland especially for an Indian restaurant , to which we were met with indifference. We were still eating at 9:50pm as our food arrived at 9:40pm, when we noticed that the air conditioner had been turned on full blast blowing out cold air. When we mentioned it, we were told that we close...
Read moreFor the customers' rating of this restaurant 4.8 stars, please check your taste buds. I really had an awful experience at this restaurant. Believe me, I know a lot about Good Indian Food. The food was disappointing and tasteless. Okra was unpalatable, and lentils were inedible. It was straight from the deep freezer. The lamb was lacking flavour and the tandoori chicken wasn't bad. The service was very disappointing. We were distraught with the bad service, and we asked for the manager twice, but no one bothered. At the end, I tried to bring up to the person behind the bar, but he didn't like my complaint and stood up for the staff. In short, I was disappointed and still trying to recover from this horrible experience. Anyone who lives in Virginia Water or the neighbouring area, please get out and experience proper authentic indian restaurants. Thank you for reading my reviews and may God...
