My first visit ever to Wagamamas, tbh i didn't think i would like that kind of food but it was actually ok. I was able to find something i liked and have enough to eat. I did think it was a little expensive tbh and portion sizes are not great but i suppose it's about being trendy. We had to send one thing back as the sauce had turned to rubber. Also many of the staff have poor English and don't understand you or you can't understand them. When bringing over dishes we confirmed 3 times what it was before it being given to the correct person for then their dish to arrive a few minutes later to find out they had been given someone else's dish. Staff just expect us to swap and take the half eaten dish from someone else in our group. Another guy bringing food didn't seem to care who it was for and just placed them on the table before walking off. Tbh service in here was extremely poor! Only given 4 stars as food once eventually correct and fresh was tasty. Girl with dark hair who served us initially was very friendly and helpful aswell.

Food (8/10): I'm not one for experimenting with food, as I like to enjoy my food without worrying that I may not like a dish and end up paying over £40 for the meal. However the food here is served fresh and if you like the taste, its well worth it. I imagine it is also very healthy too. The chilli prawn + kimchee ramen was not nice. I had it substituted for the teriyaki salmon soba which was much more to my liking. The kids menu was decent, however the best dish was yasai pad-Thai. Price (Avg per head): £15-25 (depending on starter and beverage) Service (10 /10): The service here was fantastic. Our waitress Shannon was extremely helpful and reassured us if the food wasn't to our liking they would swap it out for us, at no cost (I had to ask her twice, but it's true!). I ordered a dish that I did not like and had it swapped without a fuss. We were evn given a complimentary prawn side dish just to try it out! Atmosphere/ Occasion: Very nice cosy interior. The lighting is cool and family friendly.

I need to start by saying that I love Wagamama. I go to the Gatwick North restaurant every time I travel through the airport and I had a wonderful meal in the Aberdeen restaurant just 2 weeks ago. I just wish my experience last night had been the same. When I arrived just before 8 I explained I wanted a takeaway and was offered a table to look at a menu. It was busy and it took quite a while for my order to be taken... Tofu pad Thai and cloudy lemonade. After about 20 mins I chased my order up, chicken pad thai had been prepared. To her credit the waitress offered me green tea whilst she sorted the order. Another 20 min wait. Waiter checked order, no mint for my drink. He checked upstairs, still no mint. He then got distracted by a guy in the kitchen. By the time I paid I had been in the restaurant for almost an hour, my family had got so fed up they had left. Part of me expected a discount, maybe almy lemonade free but nothing. After all the problems food was fine.

We arrived at the restaurant and got seated relatively quick, then ordered our drinks and starters, nearly 45 minutes passed and we still hadnt received either, so I asked a waitress if we could have our drinks while we waited for our starters, she made our drinks and came back to tell us our "order had been lost on the system" and they were going to bring it straight out. Our starters then came out about ten minutes later, during the time we were waiting for the starters to arrive we also asked the waitress if we could order our mains, thought we better had a we'd waited so long and we're very hungry at this point, the waitress said she'd be right back after she'd found a handset to take our order, she never came back but proceeded to look after others customers taking empty plates away and offering more drinks. The waitress that brought our drinks and starters did void the starters off our bill and offer us something on the house, we were so annoyed by this point and didn't want to wait another hour so decided to leave. I'm very disappointed on our first visit to Wagamama, this has put me off...

From the moment we stepped in we were not greeted and completely ignored at around 8pm 13/02/2023. There was 6 of us and a baby in a pushchair sleeping. A European lady with short hair, tattoo, with ear pierced and a small bun on top of her head offered us a table for 4 and said there’s no space for the 9 month old baby and pushchair really rudely. The baby was asleep and I don’t know what she expected us to do with our baby. Then she said we have to wait for a table of 5 for 15/20 mins, being really cold and with an attitude shrugging it off. We said we are 6 plus a baby. Then we said we will wait, and she said that we have to wait outside in the freezing cold weather with a 9 month old baby. There was stools in front of us and she said we could not sit there either and cannot put the baby in that space. Really disgustingly disappointing service from Wagamama and this will be publicly told. Hiring incompetent staff that lack any customer service skills or empathy especially for a baby in this weather. She then refused to give her name and was not...

Went in to to order take away. Waited in the queue waited by the table stools by the kitchen for someone to take the order. Waited for 15 mins with no acknowledgement. When I approached a member of the team as you were busy the member of Staff Showkat was very rude and abrupt. Had no customer service what so ever and very disrespectful in the way he spoke to my girlfriend and I. Wanted us to wait in the cold outside after we ordered. We were outside for 30 mins and picked the order up. When checking the order 3 of the items were missing and had to wait 5-10 mins longer for it to be rectified. By the time I got home to have the meal the food was cold as he didn’t inform us our order was ready and when it was it wasn’t even the right times in the order. Manage your customers better regardless of the situation. I have worked in the F&B environment in many establishments myself and would request your staff to undergo more customer service focused training in order to compose them selves better in busy situations and not take their frustrations out...
