Nostrano Lounge — Restaurant in Borough of Spelthorne

I love the Nostranos lounge, all the staff are united from front to back in ensuring you feel they are enjoying what they do in creating a good vibe and being of friendly in intrusive service, which I would imagine means they have an excellent leader rather than a good manager. It's quaint, lots to look at, a creative area for children, books and games, WiFi access, outside area, different types of seating inside, I personally would prefer material on my seats rather than plastic, I get a little hot and sticky, just would be more comfortable, it's relaxed, good choice of background music playing, you can have a tea, coffee or milk shake or enjoy a good selection from the bar, cocktails, wines, beers spirits, cocktails and like the bar there is something on the clever menu for everyone, didn't see the children's menu, I would say the menu has an adjusting and above pallet regarding it's variety of tastes for those who are growing up a and wanting to taste different things, I would recommend the triple tapas boards and get two or three to taste exactly that, kofte, chicken skewers, fried chicken, guacamole and tortilla type triangle crisps, crispy salt pepper squid, chargrilled prawns, with humus, chilled, BBQ you name it, the breakfast, burger choices, pancakes to the salads, the noodles with prawn or the bang bang chicken, watch out for the little red chillies that give it some heat, nothing hasn't come out of the kitchen that hasn't been mouth wateringly delightful, so relaxed and chilled a global winner for all really. Didn't take pictures unfortunately enjoying the ambience and company too much to consider it, pre book if there is more than 5/6 of you if you can, I prefer to order at the bar for food and drink, however the QR code system is in place. Great little spot for any occasion I reckon, on your own or with friends and family, I wouldn't want to corporatise...

Izzy and Harvey are simply amazing I can’t recommend them enough! Every experience I’ve had with them has been flawless from start to finish. They’re warm, welcoming, and genuinely go above and beyond to make sure everything is perfect.

Their attention to detail is second to none and you can really feel how much love and care they put into what they do. Whether it’s the quality of their work, their friendly approach, or the way they make you feel valued, they’re true professionals who are also just lovely people to be around.

If you’re thinking about going to Lounge with Izzy and Harvey do it! You won’t regret it. Five stars all the way!

I just had the mac and cheese at Lounge and I genuinely can’t stop thinking about it. It was the perfect balance of creamy, cheesy goodness with just the right amount of richness indulgent but not too heavy. The pasta was cooked perfectly, and the cheese sauce was so flavourful and comforting, with that beautiful golden baked top that added a delicious bit of crunch to every bite.

It’s the kind of dish that feels like a warm hug proper comfort food done right. The portion was generous, piping hot, and absolutely satisfying. Whether you’re a die-hard mac and cheese lover or just fancy something hearty and delicious, this is an absolute must-try.

Humiliated and Banned at Nostrano Lounge in Staines – After Spending £3,000 Here

“I don’t care if you spend £3,000 or £300—you will not be disrespectful to my staff.” That’s what the head chef, who also claimed to own Nostrano Lounge, said to me loudly in front of a full restaurant—before banning me on the spot. Not only was this a complete exaggeration, it was deeply humiliating and uncalled for.

I’ve eaten at Nostrano Lounge 3 times a week for years with my family—both dining in and ordering takeaway. We’ve supported this business faithfully, built friendly relationships with the team, and spent thousands over time. Today, I made a simple request to have my sandwich made properly because previous orders had come out under-portioned or incorrect.

Instead of handling it with any professionalism, a waitress challenged me. When I calmly explained my past experience, the head chef stormed out, accused me of being “disrespectful,” and told me I was no longer welcome. This wasn’t just bad service—it was a complete disregard for loyal customers and basic decency.

To the real owner of Nostrano Lounge: I’d appreciate a call. Until then, this review will be posted on every major platform—Google, TripAdvisor, Yelp, Facebook, and more—until people know exactly how you treat your regulars.
