The best fish & chips in Blackpool!

I visited Blackpool and Fleetwood as a tourist in 2023. I stayed near the front beach. I must say that Cleveley's Cottage Cafe become my favorite and trustworthy place to go because,

1. All the ingredients felt fresh (specially the oil) and of good quality. I could trust that after having my meal I was going to feel good to continue with my trip. This means that they don't mess with people's health and that is so valuable for me.
2. The taste was just on point, lovely.
3. Very close to the shops and the front beach to go for a walk.
4. The cafe is peaceful and neat.

If you are looking for the best fish & chips in Blackpool, I personally would recommend this place as first option.

I wish all the best to Cleveley's Cottage Cafe, and that they never change, only expand! I've been missing you since and I'm hoping to go...

I had a fish and chips lunch here whilst on holiday. It was a very busy and noisy place but the staff were friendly and attentive. The food was freshly cooked to order so was nice and hot. The fish was very tasty. Portion size was a little small but adequate. I had a fruit pie with custard for dessert. The pie was great but the custard was awful! It was watery and lumpy. It was not a cheap cafe but neither was it exorbitantly expensive. The toilets were adequate and reasonably clean. If I was in the area again I would try out somewhere else to eat but would return to Clevelys Cottage if I had to. A nice little somewhat dated...

Food was alright muffin was kinda hard each time I have ordered!! Service is standard at best unless you're local then they seem to treat n speak to you a little better..I'd say it's like most places of service in Blackpool they treat you like you're a tourist because your accent isn't local and also like most places in Blackpool they seem very very annoyed that they even have to serve you or anyone for that matter..as if they're really peed off that a customer has actually come in to the premises and ordered food !!
