Aldo's Italian — Restaurant in Bradford

This was our first visit and will definitely not be our last. We were greeted with a very warm welcome from the moment we stepped through the door. It was a very busy Saturday night around 7.30 pm, but the staff were so attentive, friendly, and treated you like family. We were seated straight away, and our drinks order was taken. The waiter took time to go through non-alcoholic options for myself, with me being pregnant. The drinks took no more than a few minutes to arrive, and our food order was taken. Again, the waiting staff were spot on offering advice with food allergies and alternative options. The food arrived in a very reasonable time. It was exactly as asked for. Presented beautifully, great portion sizes, cooked to each of our preferences, perfect temperature, and absolutely delicious. Although the restaurant was extremely busy, it still kept a very intimate atmosphere and felt warm and cosy at our table for 2. Waiting staff checked if everything was to our liking, chatted, and offered drinks top ups without any prompting from ourselves. We opted to order desserts these again, were presented beautifully, and tasted amazing. The whole evening was such a lovely experience from start to finish. The staff I can not praise enough. Yes, some might say "well they are only doing their job," but for me, it was them, their attitudes, their attentiveness, and their passion that made our whole experience what it was for us. Came here last night for my partner's 50th, on first impressions I was shocked by the attitude of the front desk staff. They ignored me for a couple of minutes then when another member of my party said something, they looked up from what they were doing. I told them my booking details and they just said "your table's not ready yet, go get a drink at the bar" no apology despite us being there at 6pm which is when I booked the table About 15 minutes later we were shown to our table. After looking at the menus etc. a waiter came to take our orders. He was very nice and friendly, made a fuss of our little boy, asked about Craig's birthday as he'd seen the cake. The food came and was delicious, everyone enjoyed their starters and mains. My little boy polished off most of an adult sized pizza as it had been ordered accidentally instead of a child's one. We were talking about not cutting the cake there as we were all full but the waiter was like no mate, I'm giving you the full works, took the cake brought it back out with a big sparkler candle and everyone sang happy birthday. I just want to give a shout out and say thank you to that waiter who made my partner's birthday night feel special and was really welcoming to us all. I would have given 5 stars for service if it hadn't been a bad...

We recently celebrated my niece’s baby shower at Aldo's Italian, and I can’t speak highly enough of the entire experience.

From start to finish, everything was absolutely perfect.

The event was beautifully organised – from the stunning balloon decor by Sarah at party projects , the team at Aldo's were accommodating to Sarah, and to the seamless setup of the space.

The staff at Aldo's were beyond amazing: friendly, attentive, and genuinely eager to help, making sure the whole event ran smoothly.

Nothing was ever too big or too small – every detail was handled with such care and warmth.

The food was, as expected, delicious. Authentic Italian dishes full of flavour and served piping hot – the garlic king prawns are a must try - thank me later 😉

What stood out most was the attention to detail and the way the staff made the mother-to-be feel so at ease. It was a perfect celebration made just for her.

Thoughtful touches throughout the event added to the experience and made it one to remember.

A huge thank you to Aldo’s for making such a meaningful occasion even more special. We couldn’t have asked for a better venue or team.
