Cafe Liza — Restaurant in Bradford

Visited as a family of 4 for lunch. Very friendly atmosphere, big room with a few large comfy settees as well as tables and chairs. We ordered various paninis and a couscous feta cheese salad. All food was fresh and very tasty. We don't normally have desserts but, we could not resist the gorgeous looking homemade Bakewell Cheesecake and Lemon & Ginger Cheesecake. The portions were big - not the usual slither you get in some places. Oh they were scrummy! It's a shame that the nearby car parking is only 1 hour as I could definitely spend a lot longer there! I have been living in Bradford for 18 months.

When we first arrived from Australia, the bland English cuisine was a bit of a shock, despite being warned! Fortunately my wife and I found Café Liza’s in our first week and made it our regular. The owners are friendly and care about customer service and food. It is a little piece of civilised continental Europe on an otherwise bleak landscape where the coffee and the food is handmade with love. Amazing cosy cafe opposite Bradford college, serving variety of panini's, jacket potatoes fresh pizza all made by the owner Zane. Hot drinks aswell. Wonderful owner Zane is always friendly so welcoming. All meat is halal they'res vegetarian options aswell. Theyres toilet facilities in the building which is always a bonus.
