A very late review! My wife and I visited on the last Sunday in August, having just traversed Bingley Five Rise in a westward direction in our narrowboat. I had to take my first pint of bitter back as, alas, it was probably the very last pint in the barrel and not quite righ5. As a retired cellarman of 22 years what I would hope for is my pint exchanged without quibble. No, the friendly landlord did more: he let me choose between two different ales that would replace the one now gone. Service above and beyond! The place was busy, one couple were celebrating their 40th wedding anniversary with friends. So we, along with everyone else present, were invited to a free glass of champagne by said couple.
