I would not normally visit or rate a wine bar being a real ale drinker but Boothroyd noticed they had one handpump serving Goose Eye Brewery Chinook. For my wine drinking better half it was heaven. Asked for a dry rosé and offered sampler. She was thus very happy and so was Booth and I. We've always enjoyed getting our wine from Martinez - they're a class act, with helpful staff, an amazing selection of wines, and during the lockdown, a terrific delivery service. This time, to our amazement, we've got double the quantity we ordered, for the same price! What a reward! We certainly won't be going anywhere else for our booze.
