Costa Coffee Drive Thru — Restaurant in Bradford

Been going to this costa for years and today i turned up and they’d switched the power off to the plug sockets. I asked what the issue was and the barrista said the plug sockets had been disabled because people were watching BBC iplayer on their laptops…… !? Wifi was still working… so if my laptop was fully charged i could sit and watch BBC iplayer for hours? On Wednesday morning I arrived at the drive through to find it was closed. I had enough time before work to go in, so I parked up and went in. There was about 4 people ahead of me, and I soon realised there was only one lady, doing EVERYTHING by herself! Honestly she was doing an amazing job! Some staff had not made it that morning, so she just cracked on and held things together by herself! I really hope Costa give her a big bonus for that day!! During our stay one of the waitresses was mopping the floor and tidying the crockery, banging around the furniture and crockery, I was trying to have a conversation, especially as my friend and I have hearing difficulties. I asked her kindly to lift chairs and not bang or drag- she continued throughout our stay which we cut short due to this - it was not a calm coffee break experience sadly .
