Victoria Hall — Attraction in Bradford

Me and my husband got married here on 21st December 2019 and could not have asked for a better day.

The venue wowed all our guests. It's a beautiful building and great for a wedding. We got married in one room, had drinks in another, and our reception in the main hall. We did the 'wurlitzer entrance' which is unique to Viccy Hall and went down very well with our guests. David, the organist, did a stellar job with a musical medley and catered to exactly what we asked for.

Becky, Hannah and all the staff did everything they could to make sure everything ran smoothly. The communication up until the day itself was always prompt, Becky and Hannah were easy to get hold of and always responded quickly. They went out of their way with Becky ringing round our suppliers a week before the wedding to make sure everyone was on the same page. And allowing us to decorate the whole hall as we wanted, with staff helping to hang lanterns and garlands a few days before the wedding.

Hannah was the co-ordinator on our wedding day and she was just brilliant. She worked behind the scenes to make sure all timings went to plan and did extra things we hadn't ask for such as move decor from the ceremony room into our reception room to make sure it was being used. She made sure me and Andrew had a glass of bubbly and 5 minutes to ourselves after we had just got married, and informed us of anything we needed to know throughout the day, but equally sorted any issues so we didn't have to worry.

Victoria Hall was the perfect venue for our wedding! The team were helpful, professional and friendly from start to finish. We felt in safe hands, all our ideas were met with enthusiasm and the organisation was incredible. Behind the scenes, the team coordinated with our suppliers and made sure everything ran smoothly. They were very hands-on for set up and on the day, and they did everything with a huge smile! As a venue, it's just beautiful and it was the ideal venue for a big ceilidh party! Thank you :)

(It's also worth adding, our friends and family loved the close proximity to the train station, hotels and AirBnBs, it's a nice easy location for everyone to get to. We even managed a pub trip the evening before and lunch the day after because everyone was staying within walking distance!)

Lovely place- however I think they can do more to provide for weddings

Doesn’t provide cutlery for events, or services and not allowed to take hot food in to plug in. (Listed building etc) Charges a lot of money for hiring the rooms when you can go to other places rent free, with the ease of hot food allowance and

Toilets need updating

Bar area- they ran out of beer!!!! They knew there was a wedding event, it was the hottest day ever and they ran out of cold beer or the beer pumps didn’t work- countless of excuses. White wine was warm- and they have fridges.
