Dixy Chicken — Restaurant in Bradford

I ordered a Chicken Burger Meal with an extra chicken burger on its own from Dixy’s Chicken, and it was one of the worst dining experiences I’ve ever had. To start, the fries were rock hard—completely inedible. As for the burgers, the buns were dry and hard, but the real issue was the chicken itself. It honestly felt like I received chicken that had been cooked early in the morning and simply reheated for my order at 11:30 PM. The chicken was tough, dry, and lacked any fresh flavor.

I called the takeaway to address my concerns, and a staff member assured me that the chicken was fresh. He even offered to replace the meal but only if I brought the food back to the shop. I suggested they send the driver who delivered the food so I could show him the poor quality, but they refused, citing the fact that my order was placed via Uber Eats.

I’m not usually someone who leaves reviews, but this experience was bad enough to prompt me to write one. I regret not reading the reviews beforehand, as this place turned out to be one of the worst chicken joints in the whole of Yorkshire. Avoid...

Dropped in, not from Bradford. Bought 2x Chicken fillet Burgers. I never had anything like this before, so tasteless... The chicken fillet tasted like rubber, the batter had no taste to it, felt like they dipped it in plain flour and fried it.

The Bun was unfrozen in microwave and not toasted after, it has the taste of uncooked flour and was falling apart, probably expired.

I did tell the owner/ manager, he seems to be a nice guy, but he'll half to change his recipe wether he likes it not. Because that burger Didn't Taste anything like a burger.

I paid for a SUPREME CHICKEN BURGER MEAL with water and THIS IS WHAT I RECIEVED. The burger isn't even chicken (+ no hash brown) AND I got a pepsi... like what is going on 🤣

It's honestly painfully humorous HOW WRONG THEY GOT MY ORDER. The skin of the chicken randomly fell off when I picked it up too.

Lost my trust (again) in these Bradford restaurant businesses/deliveries. How can you proudly take peoples money in exchange for poor quality and incorrect items? WHY NOT JUST CANCEL THE ORDER INSTEAD OF BEING LAZY.
