Parking is round back and is a private car park and not associated with Steak N Bake. You can book online via JustPark (Location code: 524949). On entry there is a large sticker sign on the door saying cash only. My heart sunk. We were welcomed warmly by staff and I asked about the cash only to be told they accept bank transfer. Sufi showed us to our table, The environment is very nice and we didn't feel cramped in, there were customers behind us but the booth still felt very private. Staff are always about if you need help, ideal when we were ready to order. Fiza took our order and was very good in ensuring our specific requests were met. First disappointment was after ordering the 24c Gold Burger, Fiza returned to say it's not available. Food arrived promptly with both Sufi and Fiza serving the food. We asked for everything together and it came together, perfect. Fiza asked if we wanted a family photo, awesome service. Food was great, Fiza recommended Medium well for our steaks after we asked for well done, and she was right, we really enjoyed the food. Sufi was also great being on hand for any extra cutlery and napkins. Mens toilet would rate 3 out of 5, clean and tidy, but the cubicle door will not open fully due to it jamming on the floor, so you have to slide your way past, an area of improvement. We then remembered we had cash in the car, so we were able to pay by cash. Overall excellent service, excellent food, and lovely environment. I would recommend it. I have to drop one star due to no card payments, in this and age, there should be card payments. Our bill was £144. I have seen previous responses from a year ago about having a card payment system installed, but yet no option to date.

Location: 5* Ambiance: 5* Service: 5* Price: 5* affordable for food quality as expected Food: 1* Not one to ever complain TBH as usually with a bad experience I just never return, but! Went for a father and son (5) meal yesterday and ordered him a child chicken burger and chips and myself a prawn starter and Ribeye Sizzler. As I only eat my steak medium rare the steak was cooked seperate an not placed on the sizzler to over cook it. Food came out in a timely manner and my son really enjoyed his food and was impressed with the location which I could not fault was really nice inside. My prawn starter was very nice and TBH was cooked the exact same as another restaraunt Howdy's The sizzler excluding the steak was on a bed of raw onions? The mash looked like it had been sat a while and not really what I would call a buttery mash. The peppercorn sauce which was more a gravy was actually stone cold just pressed into the mash. However it was the steak that became what I presume was the issue I now have. When it arrived on the plate TBH it looked lifeless and tasted much the same. But me being me I don't like to waste food if I can. Instead of medium rare it was overcooked and medium and very pale in colour? All I ate was the steak and a few chips really along with the prawns a little rice and mash and had not eaten anything else at all that day. I woke this morning with severe cramps and have been on the toilet all day thus far. I obviously can't be sure it was as a result of the food? So my score is based on the food serving standards alone.

This place is not in the normal food areas in Bradford, say Leeds Road, Gt Horton Road, etc. It's tucked away on Otley Road near Peel Park. What a lovely find though. I went as the reviews were really positive and I hardly eat steak in these parts as no one can cook them well enough. We ordered the lamb chops, after the chef recommended them to us, saying they are the best in Bradford. Big claim. To be fair, they were actually lamb and not tenderised mutton like everywhere else. They just lacked a hit of flavour and were cooked too long. The sauce they put on the chops was the same sauce on the chicken wings, which were very nice. The mocktails were good, but as a general rule of thumb, places like this need to crush the fresh mint to release the aromas and taste of the mint. Otherwise it's just glorified 7UP. The mains were excellent. I had the ribeye sizzler. My steak was cooked well, but still soft. The sides were excellent, much better than Toros. I opted for noodles which were really good, and I liked that the vegetables tasted pan fried and sauted. My friends had a t-Bone and lamb, and they found theirs a touch tough, but I had no complaints. I will be going back again, and I heard they are opening on Gt Horton Road soon.

I came here for my birthday with my dad and brother and was not disappointed. We made a reservation about 2 hours prior to arrival thinking that we might be declined due to such short notice but we managed to squeeze in. The staff are very friendly, the young lady that sat us down offered us another table close to the fire which was very kind of her (The restaurant itself was not cold but it was absolutely freezing outside). The atmosphere was nice and the decor was well thought through - it wasnt cheap ugly tacky decor like most places. I was abit annoyed how there was no physical menus, we had to scan a QRcode which never loaded on any of our mobile devices (maybe just poor signal) but the server was quick to give us a tablet with the full menu on. The mocktails were very tasty and refreshing and complimented our food well, I ordered the pina colada which i highly recommend. The starters arrived swiftly and were full of flavour and cooked to perfection. The mains were just as good, as it was my birthday I went for the 24ct gold steak and when it arrived I will be honest I was quite underwhelmed, however when I took the first bite of the juicy steak I realised I was wrong. I asked for medium and they delivered, the chips went well with the peppercorn sauce, the mash however was a little plain but the rest of my plate made up for it. On my dad's order they forgot to add the sides he ordered but upon questioning the server he received it straight away. The only thing left on our plates when we was finished was the salad. We had just enough room left for desserts, my dads cheesecake didn't come with ice cream but whipped cream instead but again upon questioning the server it was immediately rectified. Our order came up to £158 for the three of us which is quite good for value considering we all got the most expensive things on the menu + drinks + sides + desserts. We don't usually do this but since they made my birthday one of the best birthdays in a while we gave a nice tip to the server as he went above and beyond for us. We've already told our friends and family about this gem and we will definitely be...

I visited her yesterday and had high hopes for the place but unfortunately didn’t live up to the expectations. So when we arrived there was a lot of parking space which is good and easy access to the restaurant. The atmosphere seemed to be okay. We had ordered the meat chops whereby the potion seems to be small for starters. I had ordered the rib eye steak for main based on the recommendation it being medium rare but as I was eating it became drier and drier as well as chewy. So the issue was towards the end when it came to paying. The man at the till had said it was cash only which we was not aware of, when my friend had asked where the nearest cash point is, he became quite patronising and unfriendly when telling us and that we should’ve seen it as we were coming but the sign is so small and you would think to notify people when they arrive that the restaurant is cash only! Secondly, he then said we can do a bank transfer which again I find very strange and odd to do for a restaurant which we agreed to do anyways but again very passive aggressive when asking and seemed to be annoyed for whatever reason but what was odd is that the recipient of the bank transfer didn’t even seem to be in the name of the business which is very suspicious from that perspective, as even takeaways don’t initiate bank transfers let alone a restaurant. I asked him it is has been received but he never seemed to do the checks for it. Safe to say I won’t be coming back here again as the hospitality was very poor and doesn’t live to its standard. Another waiter had given us a item we had left behind in the car park and when expressing my concern for the man at the till he told me that’s just how he is which is frustrating because there is serious lack of...

Excellent service. Delicious food. We went in and saw signs for cash only payments but staff said transfer was possible, which was great as I’m not from Bradford so would have had to go round looking for cash machine. Decor is nice, clean and comfortable. Waiter service was spot on only that he talked too fast but he was great and friendly. The sizzling plate is delicious and the portion is huge! We had the chicken sizzler NY style I think and the Romeo Juliet suckler plate. It’s super filling and that was great as we had travelled all day and were really hungry! We asked the waiter which mocktail was recommended and he suggested the ocean blue mocktail, which was really nice and not a small chutney size glass with more ice and less drink like other places. The glass was tall and full so you could actually enjoy and drink a proper mocktail than eat ice. Waiter made sure everything was good. The tropical dequiribwas also very nice and decent sized. Price was spot on for everything. Good steak, mash, steamed veg which wasn’t soggy, all time favourite peppercorn sauce & drinks, everything was perfect. The rice is spicy so bear that in mind but it’s nice. Paid at counter. They do icecream too but we’re full with just the sizzling plate. Highly recommended and will be back with rest of the family. There is parking (you have to pay for it) I believe blue badge holders are free from what I can remember (as it’s a private parking plot), but it does get full in the evenings. Street parking is not free and residential permit holders in places only from what I saw so just want you to be aware of this. Parking on main road is free but just a short distance walk to the restaurant. Don’t let this stop you from coming. Hidden...
