ā 1-Star Review ā Extremely Disappointed with Burnt Pizzas and Poor Customer Service
I donāt usually write reviews, but on this occasion I feel compelled to share my experience due to the extremely poor quality of the two gluten-free pizzas I received. Iāve been a customer of this branch for many years !
I was in a rush when I collected the order and didnāt check the pizzas at the counter ā something I now regret. When I got home to hungry mouths waiting, I was shocked to find that both pizzas were visibly burnt (see attached photos). I immediately called the branch to speak to a manager and expressed my dismay, only to be told that āour oven is too hot ā thatās why they burned.ā
Iām sorry, but how is that a valid excuse? Whether itās an honest oversight or a result of improper kitchen settings, the point remains: I should never have been served burnt food in the first place.
I then had to drive all the way back with both burnt pizzas, expecting a resolution. Instead, I was given a replacement⦠only to find those pizzas were also burnt. No apology. No accountability. Just burnt pizza ā again.
To add to the disappointment, I was offered a few cookies as a goodwill gesture. While the thought might have been there, it felt dismissive and tone-deaf given the situation. I left twice with inedible food and still no proper apology.
Frankly, this branch needs to revisit basic standards of food preparation and customer service. A simple āsorryā would have gone a long way ( āSorry seems to be the hardest wordā- as the song goes!!) . Even a small gesture like a discount or voucher for a future order would have shown some effort to make things right. But sadly, none of that was offered.

It was a usual Wednesday night and I came into Dominoās to grab myself a pepperoni pizza. While I was waiting the shop reeked a strong odour of weed. Not only that, I over heard a conversation between another staff member and a customer whom Iāve seen ordering from there on numerous occasions, which contained profanity and multiple racial slurs towards the customer. This lead me to intervene in the quarrel and de-escalate the situation. From first hand experience I can happily say that I will never be ordering my pepperoni pizza from here again. My sympathy is held high with the fellow customer who is left to live with the torment that he had...

Went order online but decided to call in served by a lovely lady called called DENISA saved me Ā£3.50 and I ordered a garlic bread with it instead of saving.. very good customer service.. thank you.. loyalty restored. Still not ready to go back to the nachos but maybe one day. šš¤¦
Catch.. large pizza served smaller in shop than online.. Otherwise smashed it.
3 years old What a shame but too many times have we received nachos which have limited tomato š and cheese š§ and burnt / overbaked. Really bad.
