Godfathers Pizza House — Restaurant in Bradford

We ordered from here for the first time and left a review on just eat. We had a response but, couldn’t respond to that so, here we are. The owner doesn’t seem to be able to take criticism which isn’t great if they want a successful business going forward. I went right back to January and customers were making similar comments about food being cold, burnt, incorrect items being sent, and the delivery time but, the owner prefers to tell people not to return, rather than collating the data and fixing the issues. I understand lots of fast food places use frozen chips, that’s a given, it’s about the quality, how they are cooked, stored, transported etc. The drinks we received weren’t even listed on the menu, and the peanut butter stack was received rather than the Matilda cake without any warning. On a serious note, if someone in our household had a nut allergy, it’s life and death and should be taken seriously. People in this industry are responsible for educating themselves on allergens and cross contamination. If the worst was to happen, not only would they lose their livelihood, they’d also face jail time! Seems this owner needs more training on customer service, how to run a business, and food quality/safety. Pizzas innit!!!😁,, I only live two minutes down the road and had never tried them until recently as I've got a mate who lives right next door,,, so I eventually thought I'd give them a try and was pleasantly surprised as I've found over the years growing up in Bradford that many of the pizza shops are run by non Italians and I'll give them credit for effort but they should stop pretending and be honest with the public,, chicken tikka and spicy mince,,or fake halal ham or sausage/ salami wouldn't be on an authentic pizza would they?? when was the last time you saw an Italian or Greek curry shop?? Sorry for moaning but even subway has fallen prey and are selling faken, turkey ham,, gawd knows what salami and pepperoni here in Bradford,, and it's not right how we're forced to eat an inferior product without being told about it,,, it's probably why you struggle to get a decent pizza in Bradford even pizza hut and dominos are probably the same,, sorry for moaning on but my point is that they do a half decent pizza here,,, just keep it simple and avoid the faken and curried...

If I could give them less than one star I would, delivery time was acceptable but that is about it. The worst garlic bread and pizza base I ever had. Supermarket kind of base ( from the cheapest ones you can get). Garlic bread not garlicy at all and baked so it was stiff and very crispy, never had such a crispy, wafer thin garlic bread. Pizza toppings were ok I guess but base the same as garlic bread just smaller. 9 inch pizza 6.20 and 12 inch garlic bread 4.30. Then I was charged service charge of 0.50 pence when paying cash! And 1 pounds for delivery which came to a total of 12 pounds for this appailing food. Morrisons make better pizza for the fraction of the size!!!
