I had ordered from Uber Eats delivery, and I thought I'd try a new place out. Normally, I read through the reviews the lowest first, but on this occasion, I didn't. I wish I had. Otherwise, I would not have ordered anything from here. I ordered the philly sub box; BUY 1 GET 1 FREE OFFER. Once the order was placed after 10 minutes, I read the reviews I was gutted. Anyway the food came pretty quick, like within half an hour. It seemed hot enough with a foil all over the boxes. I opened the box and thought it looked good. See pics I put up. Chips were soggy and greasy with cheese melted on top they were luke warm. The wings were disgusting soggy and full of oil. The donner had a nasty smell to it, and excess oil or the stir fry was nasty. The sub had the same donner in, and I tell you the whole of the sub was soaked in the greasy oil that was not edible. My kids were not happy, neither was I or the Mrs. I wonder what these guys are running if you're feeding the drunks. They probably eat it. The entire order was a waste of money. The food produced is very low quality. donner is disgusting the Fries, you need to change to normal as the cut doesn't change anything. The sub nasty greasy oily the wings disgusting oily its liked they had been dipped in oil again or these were left out for at least 5 to 6 hours not fresh at all. The sauces were OK not popular like it stated on uber eats. The best thing in the box was the salad lool.. the salad was freshly put in I was shocked. The owner after so many comments or feedback still hasn't changed then maybe it's just a front. You want to run a businees yet you can't produce quality to satisfy customers. Maybe when you have a change or different staff is on the food comes out good hence the other reviews which are either fake or bot generated. Anyway if u want food poisoning then eat here...

An honest review from a foodie.

Me and a friend visited a fortnight ago, the place was recommended to us as having good burgers so we decided to visit.

When we visited the place was empty, there was however a collection from an Uber eats delivery driver. You should get a gut feeling when a place is completely dead.

There was a staff worker who was in the back, he looked fairly inexperienced but did advise to go and sit down and we could order.

The table we sat at was sticky - it clearly had not been wiped down properly, so we had to move to another table and this was also the same. so we decided to stay put.

We decided on ordering a few burgers on the recommendation of our friend and the staff worker. We ordered

x2 Hot Honey Chick with crinkle fries x1 Smash patty Portion of tenders

We were advised of a wait of around 25 mins, which we expected for fresh food. To our surprise it arrived within 15 mins. The hot honey chick was cold, the burgers for the hot honey chick contained two tenders - it wasn't a fillet. We were heavily disappointed as we paid around £10.00 approx for the burger. The crinkle fries were okay. Don't get me wrong, charge what you want for the food however the quality of the food needs to be on point or else you will lose your customers before even starting.

The smash burger was nice, credit given where its due. However the portion size of the burger was small. We also enjoyed the burger sauce which was different.

The chicken tenders weren't made fresh and appeared to have been reheated. Again, huge disappointment.

Overall, there are many changes the business can make to improve and hopefully by taking in this constructive feedback they will implement it. In terms of the value of the food, it was definitely not worth the £30 odd...

I recently had the pleasure of dining from Meltdown, and I must say, it was an excellent experience from start to finish.The food was truly delicious, the staff were friendly and the management team went above and beyond to make us feel welcome.

The moment we entered Meltdown, we were greeted with warm smiles from the staff. The management team were especially welcoming, ensuring that every guest felt comfortable and well taken care of. It's clear that the establishment values good customer service, which greatly enhanced our experience.

The food at Meltdown was exceptional. The whole family thoroughly enjoyed their meals, and we were impressed with the range of options available on the menu. One standout was the Hot Honey Chick burger, which had a unique and tantalizing flavor. The combination of spicy and sweet was absolutely delightful. Additionally, the tiktok fries were a real crowd-pleaser, cheesy and seasoned to perfection.

Furthermore, the restaurant's ambiance was inviting and comfortable. The modern and comfortable decor created a welcoming environment that added to the overall experience. It was evident that the management had put thought and effort into creating a space where guests could relax and enjoy their meals.

Based on our experience, I highly recommend Meltdown to anyone looking for a delicious dining experience. The tasty food, friendly staff, and welcoming management make it a standout choice for a great meal. My entire family had a wonderful time, and we all agree that this place deserves a five-star rating.
