Grand Salas Restaurant — Restaurant in Bradford

One star is too much for this “restaurant”. Came here to spend monday lunchtime with my family as it was close to our parking and it looked nice. The first thing- they struggle with English so it was hard work to order a bottle of red wine as the waitress didn't understand what I wanted and showed me a soft drinks. However, in half an hour we got it with just washed soft drinks glasses. I asked for wine glasses, so the waitress sent the boss to deal with us😃 he brought us cocktails and Prosecco glasses. I picked Prosecco glasses cos understand it is pointless to ask again🤭 Second thing- most dishes in the menu didn't have them. Also, nothing had from deserts at all, no napkins too. Ordered a chicken burger, fried cheese and gulash- food absolutely average, blank, tasteless. Ordered a second bottle of wine- brought a white one. 🤣 I went to the bar and showed that we wanted the same and it was funny how they tried to get it from the cabinet. Here came the time for a toilet- both were closed. Asked a keys and they said “NO!!!!Not working!” 🤣 As we had good mood so we just smiled, till we needed to change baby nappy. As there was no one around, no bins, toilets were closed- so we left nappy by the toilet door. In a few minutes the boss came and said we needed to take it or he would call the police. Very “nice” attendance, helpfulness for customers . The worse thing- you can't get your bill. They said I need pay £73 and a bit. Asked a bill and they said “we can, you need pay and we will give you receipt”. But I want to see what for I'm paying. The boss was unhappy, gave us our bill and there was £65.93, so be careful as looks like they robbing customers!!! Not...

Everything about this place is just bad. Probably the worst customer service I’ve ever encountered. We sat down, got given menus and my menu was covered in some brown sauce? Little did I think this would foreshadow the rest of our experience. We went on to order our food and upon ordering the food, over half of the items on the menu the waitress said they ‘didn’t do’. No idea why they couldn’t just mark off the items on the menu? Anyway, finally settled on a chicken wrap and a peach chicken dish. On my second bite of the wrap, I pulled out a hair. We told the waitress and I apologised as I don’t like complaining but all she did was look at me disgustingly and took it away. We got the bill very shortly after and they tried charging us for the wrap. I tried to explain that we were happy to pay for everything apart from the wrap as we found a hair in it and I didn’t eat it. We got told it must be one of our hairs even though the colour and texture of our hair didn’t match the one found in the food. The guy just shrugged his shoulders and insisted that it was ours. Then one of the cooks started interrogating us as to ‘where we were from’ as this must have been the reason why we complained as we don’t look ‘European’. When we mentioned we were from England, she pulled a face, turned around and starting very obviously speaking about us in her native language. Nice little bit of racism to end the meal.

Dont even bother with this place, plenty of other places in Bradford with better food and great...

I never been in this restaurant,my daughter was hungry and I give a try. Hmm what can I say...didn't feel much welcome..nobody come, we standing ,thinking where to sit...then just choose or table..one lady take orders...you feel like you need to wave 👋 to get notice ..no drink choice..food was nice, traditional cooked, thats 👌 prices is good also Food and my daughters drink was served, but mine didn't come, so again need to wave..whille on tables where sit Slovakian or Romanian,all food was served in time...lady talking and chearing with people next to me, clearly speak in their language...whille mine drink was standing on till, didn't apologise like in other restaurants for waiting..its likectheir own community. There was live music and seams just one person smile at as from band wich get me bit more comfortable to be there...thers lot more places to get food, same price category and you feel comfortable and enjoy atmosphere Don't think will attend...
