Where do I start. After seeing the reviews we decided on dining here with it being my wife’s preference. Tuesday at 19:50 Upon entering the restaurant it was busy and we were informed that there would be a 30-40 min wait. We decided to wait as we could have gone to other establishments within Bradford but driving there, waiting etc would probably take the same time. My children choose - chicken nuggets and chips and chicken popcorn and chips. Both meals came with a fruit shoot drink. Both my kids enjoyed their food but you can’t really mess up nuggets or popcorn. The chips had been cooked in old oil or oil that had been heated up all day long. We requested tomato ketchup and mayonnaise. Both given in sachets!!! Which decent restaurant gives condiments in sachets? My wife and I ordered chicken wings, poppadoms and a pickle tray for starters. Charsi chicken Tikka Karahi for the mains with x1 nan and x1 roti. Whilst waiting for the food i went to the restroom to wash my hands. The toilets were in a terrible state, with water all over the floor and unclean.

Upon the food arriving the pickle tray had x4 options but only 2 spoons. The poppadoms were standard and the onions in sauce were excellent on the pickle tray.

The wings weren’t great x6 pieces and the taste wasn’t fantastic I didn’t yearn for more. The mains of Charsi Chickdn which we waited 40 mins for was bland at best. The staff asked how the food was and were surprised that I found it to be substandard at best. They took the food back to liven it up with minimal success. It’s a massive portion for £24 but we didn’t eat 3/4 of the dish as it’s not very appealing. The amount of oil in it was shocking. To pay by card you need to go over to the counter which isn’t convenient but not the end of the world. I checked my bill and I had not been given an additional fruitshoot with my second portion of nuggets which was rectified with no issue. I explained to the manager the food was bland and he apologised. I explained we only visited as the reviews were good but the experience we had wasn’t great. I also brought up the mayo and tomato ketchup being served in sachets and his response was that clientele don’t ask for them and pots don’t match there aesthetics for the establishment. (His words were that pots for sauces don’t look nice) I also explained that the toilets were not clean and his response was that the staff had been cleaning every 20 mins. This was complete nonsense as I used the restroom twice to wash my hands over 40 mins and the facilities had not been cleaned. The manager then confided that he had a large group of 16 people in. Who wrecked the cleanliness by splashing water every where whilst performing ablutions. I pointed out that it’s a health and safety issue not to mention disgusting. He simply said it’s beyond his control.

Overall I would suggest you spend your money elsewhere as this place doesn’t live up to...

Very Disappointing Experience Standards Have Dropped Significantly

I’ve visited this place before and used to really enjoy the food and service, but today’s experience was shocking and extremely disappointing.

We waited over 70 minutes for our food, and when we asked about it, we were either ignored or told it was “on its way” with no real update. The staff appeared confused and disorganised throughout.

When the food finally arrived, things got worse the air conditioning unit above our table was leaking, and water mixed with oil was dripping directly onto our food. We immediately told the staff, but they showed very little concern, simply saying “it’s only water.” There was no apology or proper action taken, which showed a complete lack of care for customer safety and hygiene. We asked to speak to a manager, but were told no manager was available during the day, which is shocking for a busy restaurant.

We had to insist that the waiter take the curry and chapatti back as they were wet and cold from the leak. Instead of apologising, he tried to justify why we should still eat it, which was completely unacceptable.

Eventually, we were brought a replacement after an additional 20-minute wait but by then the experience was already ruined. The quality of food and service has dropped dramatically, and it’s clear the focus is now only on making money, not providing good food or caring for customers.

Health and safety is clearly not a priority here. If you have a leaking air conditioning unit, it’s simple: fix it or do not seat customers under it. It’s dangerous, unhygienic, and unacceptable. Sadly, we won’t be returning. What used to be a great place has become a heartbreaking...

From the moment we walked in right until we walked out - we could not find fault in this place at all! The food in this place is soo tasty and authentic! The service was amazing too. We visited on a Friday evening around 4pm with our 2 kids. Ordered the mix grill, chapli kebab, charsi lamb karahi naans rotis and fries. The starters came out within 5 minutes of us ordering. So reasonably priced and delicious. The karahi was 1kg but looked like loads more we couldn’t finish it all so took a big container home too! Generous portions, reasonable prices and quality authentic Peshawari cuisine and service was so good. My husband was greeted with a handshake as soon as we walked into the restaurant and we were served immediately by two waiters. The waiter at the end of our meal deserves a special mention as he gave a superb service, his name was Shehzad. I thought his service was above and beyond as he opened the wet wipe packet for us at the end of the meal whilst handing it over to us together with a tooth pick too. The atmosphere of the place felt homely with traditional music in background and screens around showing the beautiful scenes of Peshawar. The decor was spot on and everything was nice and clean. Such a positive experience we had after a long drive from Manchester I’m glad we decided to try somewhere different from our usual Bradford restaurant and eat at My Peshawar. Will definitely be recommending to our family and friends and returning ourselves next time we are...

A Culinary Journey to Peshawar in Bradford. If you're craving authentic Pashtun cuisine in Bradford, look no further than Peshawar Bradford. I recently had the pleasure of indulging in their Chapli Kebab and Charsi Lamb Khari, and it was truly a culinary delight. The Chapli Kebab, a signature dish of the region, was a burst of flavors and spices. The perfectly grilled kebab, made with minced meat and a blend of traditional Pashtun spices, was juicy and tender. Each bite was a symphony of flavors, with hints of coriander, cumin, and chili tantalizing the taste buds. Next, I tried the Charsi Lamb Khari, a dish that exemplifies the rich culinary heritage of Peshawar. The tender chunks of lamb, cooked to perfection in a spicy and aromatic gravy, were a true gastronomic experience. The combination of spices and herbs infused into the dish created a depth of flavor that left me craving for more. The ambiance of Peshawar Bradford, with its rustic decor and warm hospitality, added to the overall dining experience. The staff were friendly and attentive, ensuring that every aspect of my meal was enjoyable. Overall, my dining experience at Peshawar Bradford was exceptional. The Chapli Kebab and Charsi Lamb Khari were standout dishes, offering a taste of authentic Pashtun cuisine that transported me to the streets of Peshawar. If you're in Bradford and craving a culinary adventure, I highly recommend a visit to Peshawar Bradford.
