NYK Great Horton Road Fried Chicken — Restaurant in Bradford

The interior was really nice. I placed my order but the courier behind the till couldn't understand me and I couldn't understand him too much. Nonetheless I placed my order and got seated. I opted for the spicy dipped chicken burger. The chicken itself was massive and the chips were plentiful. The burger was really nice but the spicy dip needed some flavour. I didn't mind it but it was just pure spice and no other flavours. Chips were fresh and fluffy. I specifically asked for no cheese on my burger however they still gave it even though it wasn't on the receipt. Also, I didnt understand why some drinks I had to pay extra for as I could go to any other shop and they would all be the same price. Finally, the sauce they give could be nicer if they gave it in 2 separate sauce tubs as their watery chilli overwhelms the little scoop of mayo in the middle. This meant that the mayo had dissolved into the chilli and I couldn't taste it. Would be much nicer if the mayo and chilli were separate so I could eat it according to my own proportions. Literally don't get the high stars. I don't eat out much. Thought I'd try it since works gone in to the branding and shop front. The Chicken surely must be to die for.

Basic chicken. And their speciality is they dip it in a house special chilli sauce. It basically made the burger soggy and takes away the chicken taste. Becomes more of a strong chilli taste. I'm glad I got the half dipped.

The Chicken piece is big.

But really the chicken is not scrumptious. You know that finger kicking good feel. They focused on the batter.. And not the chicken itself.

Chips were soggy even though I ate in.

Also instead of wings they gave me mini drumsticks. So that was a flop.

Also considering I bought the mega box (full worx) you'd think you'd get any drink. But typically stingy businessmen - sir, only the 7up or bebsi with meals, that we buy in bulk for peanuts from a foreign country.

I told the guy I'm eating in but he packed it. Sorry for not being shop front material bro.

1.The kiosk where they take orders from is right near the door, so they’ll have 2 people waiting in line to order and the queue will be outside. The food was below average, the chicken was really dry. They charge 50p for a sauce and the tub is not even a quarter way full. The sauce which they dipped the fillet in, nearly gave my friend a cardiac arrest, for a moment I thought I had to give him mouth to mouth CPR, then realised it was just the horrendous sauce.

The music is so loud, when I went to order the staff were literally shouting like they’re in a nightclub and asking ME to speak up.

The fact that you’re trying to charge 50p per sauce is absolutely outrageous. When every single takeaway in bradford who serve the same food for cheaper give it for free. Its not about the money its the principle, and these guys have the nerve to charge for something you get for free.
