Springs — Local services in Bradford

This has to be the most incompetent place I've gotten deliveries from. I don't know who's in charge of reading orders and packing orders because they've missed off item Instructions several times so I've given them plenty of chances, even raised it to the guy who runs it when I walked in once and he assured me of their process to read orders but of course process only means something if you actually know it and follow it.

All the special instructions for my order weren't followed which I paid £10 for and without it it's not the order I wanted, been looking forward to a dirty burger for weeks now.

The food wasn't the best of quality this time but I would have just let that pass if they had atleast given me what I ordered.

Update 25/06/24 - haven't ordered from here since I left my last review, until yesterday 🤣 ordered a 1/2 chicken fillet burger but got a 1/4, I don't even know what to say at this point, you'd think after nearly a year they'd have learnt to read but I guess not. I'd rather have had the extra chicken than a partial refund and be left unsatisfied with my meal.

I have never had such a poor experience at a takeaway. We ordered the food through Springs website and had an email to confirm order and wait time up to an hour. When it was the 1 and half hour mark we tried calling but the call wouldn't go through. After another 15 mins my husband drove to the shop to just try collecting the food instead. When he got there he was informed that the phone lines were out of order and the food had been sent out for delivery. They then called the drives who claimed he was a street away from our house. My husband drove all the way back home and the food had still not arrived. 10 minutes later the delivery driver finally showed up claiming it was so busy he still had five orders in the car to deliver and apparently had a 2 hour delay on all orders. Terrible service after ordering through just eat. Waited initially for an hour for food, distance for delivery 1 mile. No show, requested update and they said delivery will be another 20 minutes, waited for this, just eat app stated food had been delivered but it had not. Rang the restaurant to no avail, so cooked at home as it was getting way too late for kids. Restaurant finally answered after being on hold for 30 minutes, was told food is on way, arrived another 30 minutes later. Was cold and rank, asked for partial refund but declined by restaurant so really not happy with their service. If they couldn't deliver then should have allowed customers to cancel their order.
