Would not recommend going at all! This place is too over rated we bought a donner meat and chips meal - excluding the drink for £7.00 as it was highly recommended however it did not meet our expectations the donner was far too oily...the flavouring was nothing special that i would say charging so much for is reasonable. After having the meal A i was not satisfied B i have really bad sore throat from it which has just made me unwell all together... The cheese burger meal costing £6.50 was a complete waste of money rajas could have done a better job for around £4.50 - £5.00 - it was just filled with chunky cut salad, barley any cheese and the meat was far too dry.. the service wasnt great...not understanding much english was fine but being stingey with the amount of sauces they were giving after charging so much - they gave one half empty tub at first until we asked for another one which then leaked everywhere once opened.
I dont normally do reviews but because this place was so over rated and had ridiculous prices for the food and service i had to...
Read morePleasantly surprised after some rather poor experiences in the last couple of years.
I tend to avoid Spuddys and use DonerCo (now shut) and LuvDoner even though they're further out my way but with LuvDoner being extremely busy on Friday night I thought I'd check Spuddys on my way home.
Firstly the donner on naan is £1 more than luv doner but the portion was a bit more generous so I've got a bit saved over for the next day to have with a pitta and home cut chips.
It's obviously the same doner at both places so you cannot complain about the food itself.
There's a couple of reviews below however complaining that the doner is on the dry side. What I find works is that you ask for the sauce to be put on the doner itself before before adding the salad. This keeps your doner nice and juicy and your salad a little more crunchy and fresh. The young lad at the front is always accommodating but the middle aged grumpy sods at the back always seem to have a problem with anything that's asked of them. Apparently just asking for sauce first requires some...
Read moreThe best donner in Bradford! I have been coming here since I was a kid, and I can still remember when it was only Zahir and the "donner man" working there with white coats on lol. Top donner and chicken donner! Well worth waiting for. These guys have been here before there were any fast food shops in Bradford. Simply the best, I hope to have my kids hooked on "PG donners" lol. The donner is always consistent, unlike other shops. They make the donner in house, so you know that you are getting 100% pure donner and not meat scraps which is what other shops sell to customers. I remember back in my school days when I had a flue, and I asked my dad to get me a donner soaked in spice. I can still taste it now.
PLEASE BRING BACK THE...
