We ordered a wedding cake from Starbake and the amount of compliments we had was astounding. We were so pleased with the service, price, taste and look of our cake. The staff are so friendly and made it so easy to order the cake. They kept me posted the whole time in terms of drop off at our venue. I feel they really went out of their way to make our cake perfect. We spent ages looking at where to get our cake from (some places are extautionately priced!) but Starbake makes theirs at a reasonable cost and it was honestly much tastier than others we sampled at double the price. I just wanted to say thank you so much to the team at Starbake. We had a wedding disaster with the cake a day before the wedding and when I arrived at the shop I was completely not expecting miracles but wow...how they delivered. From ordering a cake at 2pm, collecting at 7pm, they created the most beautiful cake perfect for our occasion. It was stunning and tasted amazing and since then they have become are go to for any event. I cannot recommend them enough, so thank you to the team. We just ordered for my wife's birthday, the chocolate mouse cake which was unique to Bradford and absolutely delicious! I had a terrible experience today I ordered a birthday cake that was due to be picked up at 2pm. Not only was it not ready when I arrived, but at 3pm I was told the cake hadn’t even been delivered from the other branch and that I’d have to wait another 30 minutes. This was for a birthday celebration, and the complete lack of communication and accountability ruined what should have been a special moment. Waiting over an hour and a half past the agreed pickup time is unacceptable. I rang the main branch in Bradford which they offered 10% off the next time i order. Personally this doesnt suffice for the inconvenience & time wasted waiting. There definitely will not be a next time i order, if this is how they handle...
