I have dined here before and had a lovely experience however today, me and my friends had a very disheartening experience, i wanted my friends to come with me and introduce them to some new cuisines however the customer service made us uncomfortable, we canceled our order and left. I have worked in customer service for the past decade, have never treated anyone badly so it's extremely hard for me to understand what happened today and why she thought this response was okay. We always try to make chit chat with staff everywhere we go as we know how long a shift can be. Instead we have learned not to be nice to just anybody. My friend complimented the staffs accent and asked her where she's from and she said she was from India, Punjab, we are punjabis ourselves so my friend expressed Punjabis are the best. She sighed and said that was so rude and walked away. We were dumbfounded. Why would this be a rude thing to say? We dined elsewhere and because this bothered us and we wanted to understand what had happened we came back, she would not originally give us her name, then said her name was lawh/love something along those lines, said my friend was being disrespectful about her origins - we have the same origins and we're very proud of our origins, she even told us it wasn't a big deal and continued to throw accusations of what my friend did that she didn't. Instead of coming to a resolve she was just on the defensive and throwing accusations. If it was a matter of mishearing us, a simple sorry i misheard you could have gone a long way. I feel embarrassed to be the one who recommended this place as a good establishment to...

Loved it! Took my kids there yesterday after a fun day. The staff there was super helpful, even when having to deal with my picky eater suggestions for his order. He had a chicken katsu curry (asked for sauce on the side) that he loved and i ended up eating the curry myself with small portion of rice. My oldest had a bulgogi beef with rice and also a lava sushi roll(not sure if that's the name) which was a bit spicy for me but we both enjoyed. The portions of the sushi was awesome, they come either in 10pcs or 8pcs which worked out great because we each got to try them. My son had a chicken corndog as well that me and his sister ended up eating because he was too busy with the katsu..lol. we finished up with some tea and miso soup to warm us up. Overall we really enjoyed all the food and it was totally worth the price. Very reasonable and large portions which we got to take home whatever was left over. Would totally recommend and most likely will be back again. Thank you to the staff and compliments to the chef for such great food. If im ever in bradford again i am definatly stopping by again for delicious food. PS: -Entrance is wheelchair friendly but the place itself is a bit small so might be hard to get a good place if restaurant is full. My youngest has a disability and when i visited i had her in her wide pram and had to park her between the booths at the restaurant. Luckily we were the only ones there at the time but just something to take notice off. -Also we were a bit cold, maybe because the temperature in there is cold, also can get a bit smokey once the chef starts...

Saw a video on ticktock and decided to visit this place. On arrival it didn't seem like it was the same place as the video made it look much bigger. Anyway waited for a table and the kitchen is front facing so customers can smell and hear what's going on in the kitchen. When something is being grilled in the kitchen then the eating area does get very smoky and obviously customers inhale all that smell. Ordered dumplings which were very dry. I thought they may be steamed but they were not. They were fried. The accompanying sauce was very very salty. The dumplings did have big chunks of chicken in them. I ordered a sweet and sour noddle prawn dish. It was ok but nothing mind blowing. The beef bulgogi was ok but again very salty. The salt and pepper fried were really not salt and pepper fries as u can see from the picture there was next to no peppers or onions on them. Even though when I asked the staff member who took the order will these fries be cooked with peppers and onions she said yes. The staff were accommodating and did advice that we could chop and change noodles for rice and vice versa. Also this place does not have customer toilets. We were told to go use the...

Edited to 1 star after the response. It seems like the owner hasnt even read my review. We weren't informed at any point of the extra charges or the gratuity!!! We were just there for lunch for the first time and really disappointed at the pricing. The staff was ok, though the restaurant was cold. We ordered from the rice noodles or chips and were told the dish comes with one of those, but at no point were we told the rice was extra to pay. Also, gratuity was added, which is not mandatory in the UK, it is optional, but we were not asked at any point if we were happy to pay the gratuity. I mean, why would I pay when there was no table service? The bill wasn't provided before paying. Even though the food was not bad though part of the food was chilled by the time it came, it left a bad taste the whole experience.
