Had dirty late. Which by what I was told is a Late with chai infusion. Also piece of cheesecake.

I like that positive vibe i had first time i went inside. There's already few other caffe places in proximity of a half a mile if you check maps. Costa, Nero, one upstairs of a book shop, Tiffin Coffee, another Costa inside Broadway shopping centre... Yup, you're spoiled for a choice when you fancy coffee. Why this place then?

Let's start with interior of a place. Chairs where i sat where comfortable and mine at least quite deep. Didn't expect to fall inside one. It was comfortable once i sat in. Love the cushion too to have it on my back. And best of all and i know I'm going to sound like a hipster. đŸ€Š I just loved sitting in front of a massive window being able to watch others. Im weird what can i do?

Dirty late was definitely something worth checking. Late by it self isn't the best beverage you can think of. Adding little chai spice definitely adds to flavour and overall experience. I will have it again, no question about that.

Lets move to cheesecake which in my opinion was disappointing. On the paper everything was there. Love the small addition of honey (or was it a golden syrup?) on it. As well as whipped cream. Layer of chocolton top was good too. Felt bit cheaper for a chocolate, and in my opinion dark chocolate would be better addition. Crunchy, biscuits layer on bottom was bit too hard and too dry if im honest. But the biggest crime was the middle it self. It had consistency ifna cheesecake. It definitely looked like one. Simple there was not enough cheese in it. Maybe I'm the one who had too much cheesecake in my life. Based on Mascarpone or ricotta they've got full body flavours and they are exactly what you expect. It will melt, leaving soft finish in your mouth. But it was good. Not the best ever, but something i did enjoy.

Why 4 starts then? It's flipping expensive. Staying in and having what i had will leave you 10ÂŁ lighter in you pocket. Yes there's an option to take out and it's few pence cheaper. But that still means its more expensive than competitors around. By few quid per person.

I guess being hipster is expensive...

Wow what can i say . . . . Such a hidden little gem in the heart of Bradford . Although there are few coffee shops within such a small proximity this is by far the most appealing one .

Decor inside is welcoming , clean and comfortable. Ideal if you want to go there and catch up with friends or sit by the big windows and people watch . I also noticed it has free wifi and several usb ports available if you wish to use the coffee shop as a place to work / study . There is no annoying back ground noise and overall gives of a feeling of calmness.

The coffee its self is beautiful, i must say its probably the best iv had in bradford and well worth the value .

The sandwiches were well presented and tasted fresh . I asked to add cheese to mine and that was not a issue .

Although , the prices are slightly higher then other establishments. You are paying that bit extra for the quality and the fact you dont get stuck to the floor when you walkin like many other premises...

I went into this cafe to order a coffee but was desperately needing the toilet. I asked politely if I could use the toilet, then order a coffee, I got a very clear NO. I proceeded to attempt to place an order for coffee but both staff were rude and unwelcoming. When I asked why they were being unfriendly I rude!! The male staff decided to address me in such a rude manner, I requested for them to cancel my order and their response was ‘it’s people like you that mean we cannot allow people to use the toilet’ when asked what they meant by ‘people like me’ I was asked to get out, this guy comes from behind the counter in such a threatening manner all because I asked a question that pulled on their prejudices. Shame on you and I’ll never buy a coffee from that chain. Thank goodness cafe Nero was just next door, they allowed me to use the toilet and I orders myself a coffee. Be warned if you look different this cafe’s employees will make sure that you know...

Had the absolute worst experience at this place. Avoid at all costs! Was laughed at in my face and told ‘it’s not my fault you don’t like it’. I ordered a pistachio frappe and my friend ordered caramel. However mine tasted like chemicals and cleaning products and hers didn’t. I was simply ignored and smirked at by the most arrrogant man and woman. They simply left it on the counter and just ignored me throughout. To add dramatic effect the lady genuinely took a sip of my drink and I could clearly tell by her face she didn’t like it but she hesitantly swallowed and said ‘it tastes like this all the time’
.when I proceeded to take this photo of my coffee ten minutes after I had complained, they both spoke in another language, giggled and said ‘social media’ (implying I was taking a photo to bad mouth them on social media) and various other words that I obviously didn’t understand. It appears as though they genuinely do not care.

One of the reason I visit Bradford for the second time - after fell madly in love last year with the biscoff cheesecake during my first visit to the city. The location is perfect and inviting, also close to the railway station. Can't remember much about the chai I had last year but the cake is as perfect as it could be. During my second visit I was disappointed to find no cheesecake at all on display, so I chose biscoff cream cake instead as it looks as inviting as the cheesecake. And oh my word I don't know how they made it so perfectly. It is perfectly spongy, light, not too sweet, and didn't feel like a sugar sin. Stayed here for an hour before our train back home - the staffs are friendly and the seats are comfy, will def come back next time to discover more perfect cakes. And no, I am usually not a fan of a cake.

For me cake is life and this cafe makes and serves cake like cake is indeed life! Visited Bradford briefly and the exterior caught our eye so we decided to head there for tea and cake. It's like an oasis in a desert. The ambience is casual but stylish and fresh. The service on point and the manager very kind. Then the luxury chocolate cake hit! Perfect in every way that's all I can say - in taste, texture and aroma. There was the melt-in-the-middle chocolate that was on another level. Only quality ingredients used and baked with love. Lefteris cakes and tea - perfection!
