The Queens Hotel — Restaurant in Bradford

Abandon hope all ye who enter here.

We popped into The Queen mid afternoon after having a business meeting in Bradford and having 30 mins to kill before our train.

It was like something from a Wild West film. The music stopped, everyone turned round to look at us and stared like we had two heads. Maybe they thought we were CID or benefit fraud inspectors but it wasn’t welcoming in the slightest and had slightly sinister and threatening overtones.

The only other person in there with more than 3 teeth was apparently a researcher from the Jeremy Kyle show looking for victims to appear on the next series.

We obviously didn’t order a drink and ran to the weatherspoons we’d seen from the taxi. You know a place is rough when you want to find sanctuary in a weatherspoons!

Maybe we were unlucky and went on a bad day (is Tuesday Giro day???) but we’re glad we escaped...

Great position right near the Bradford Interchange. Danger to miss your bus if not careful and enjoying yourself too much :)

Place is nice and clean, 80's and 90's pop and rock music playing in the background which is very nice. Bartenders are friendly and fast, toilet is always clean and multiple TVs make sure you can watch something in the background while waiting for your mates to come.

Only been here in off-peak hours but I like this place. Wide variety of beers, tapped Grolsh being my favourite pils so far. Spirits available in large variety as well.

This place has that "English pub" feel that I love so much. I recommend The Queen if you are nearby and would like a pint while waiting for a bus or just to quench...

Decided to stop off here with my just turned 18 year old son. Service was quick. Prices are good. Fair few of the windows are smashed. Got accused of being an undercover cop off some of the regulars. Would visit again

Edit: whoever the Asian lad is, who called himself Taz is an absolute Muppet. In our faces the entire time. Then later in the night was at another venue and stood there trying to cause trouble while stood there with his pinned eyes saying that wasn't his name. Hope somebody who knows him can let me know.
