I'm not a fan of Chinese buffets and believe they have killed off the industry's quality Chinese restaurants (authentic Chinese cuisine/good dimsum is so hard to find now). Azumi/Buffet @ Bradford has a fairly good a la carte menu and a selection of fresh green leafy vegetables depending on what the kitchen has stocked that day - best to enquire with your server. Preorder specialist dishes like lobster or steamed fish by a few days ideally. There is a limited choice of vegetarian dishes. Again, I'd suggest clarifying with your server. Also, discovered today that they have 红豆冰 Coconut milk w/ red bean, along with Aloe Vera King drink and 王老吉 herbal tea. The buffet is pretty standard buffet faire - what can you really expect? This is not Las Vegas. At least the salt and pepper king prawns are authentically cooked WITH shell and retaining flavour, as per traditional Chinese cuisine.

Everytime we have a birthday to celebrate, we go to have dinner at Azuma. My kids love the quality and variety of Chinese food available. So they look forward to visiting each time. We visited recently to celebrate our sons 7-year-old birthday. He was so surprised when they played the birthday song and brought a small cupcake with a candle to him. He was very happy. Thank you for making my sons birthday a little more special. It is normally expensive for a family to dine, but given that it's a buffet, we think it's worth every penny. The staff is also very polite and efficient in cleaning up. Never a messy table. Only downside, no parking, but you can find parking in Bradford way or at the Vicar Lane Parking for £1.50 all day.

Azuma Bradford is a great spot for a meal out. There’s plenty to choose from and the dishes are replenished quickly, so nothing feels like it’s been sitting around. Some items were a little on the bland side, but overall there’s good variety and it’s excellent value for money. The staff are lovely and really friendly, and we were seated immediately. The background music gave the place a nice atmosphere too. There are a few vegetarian and pescatarian options, but not a huge selection—so best to eat at your own discretion or ask the staff for more details if you have dietary requirements. All in all, a very enjoyable visit and definitely worth trying!

Had a great experience at Azuma the other day! It was clean, really nicely presented and a lovely atmosphere. We paid £14.90 pp (3 adults) for the evening rate, which if you compare this with other restaurants, you'd easily pay this for one meal and we enjoyed as much as we could eat. The food is absolutely delicious, I know my mum and sister loved the mushrooms and were keen to know what they're cooked in and as for myself, not generally a massive lover of pork, I couldn't get enough of the pork sui (I think it was)

The only thing I would say is that from a customer's perspective and not knowing the Bradford area all that well would be to make the most of your advertising - lack of updates available online in terms of covid regulations and pricing. I personally am more inclined to visit somewhere where I'm getting the information easily; though having said that, staff were more than pleasant and happy to help when we phoned with questions regarding our visit. The only other suggestion is that it would be great for allergen advice to be readily available on the little cards at the buffet station. Also, there's a 2 hour limit for dining, which sounds like it would be plenty of time, but if you're just wanting a time of relaxation, it really flies by, particularly when you get talking. These are the only reasons for the 4* rating instead of a 5 😃

It was nice to be able to see that there is normality resuming in our world and one thing that really encouraged us to visit was that it is self serve and for anyone feeling anxious, staff wear masks and antibacterial gel is available at a couple of stations.

Overall, my Mum, sister and I really enjoyed our visit and we've already been discussing visiting again in the not too distant future. We've also been recommending you to family...

These reviews are very unfair and not really about how nice the food is. I went today for my birthday and just like all the other times I've been with my family it was really nice. I've never had a bad meal there and today especially the service was amazing. I asked the manager if Prawn toast was on the buffet as it wasn't there and I thought the chef didn't understand me and he said it wasn't today. He came back 2 minutes later and said he's just making some for you now. That was a really nice touch and we hadn't mentioned about my birthday so it wasn't just to impress for that. As the other review says the deserts aren't great but you don't go to a Chinese for their puddings! It's exceptionally good value and always fresh. I'm a trained chef so I know as well. Don't be put off by the other reviews as it really is good. The choice of starters and main courses on offer is vast, Mexican chicken today and teppanyaki? too. I'd prefer just more Chinese dishes but that's just me. Please put Crispy Won Tun rather than these and I'll be even happier. I told the boss I was going to post this review because I'd seen the other reviews earlier and I thought it was unfair and he was very happy about this but I feel it is fair to do this as did my family who totally agree with my praise. We're all very happy and have been to this place probably 10 times now and have never once left disappointed. Thanks to the boss and his staff for such a lovely meal (and the prawn toast) that gave me a really...

So I've given a 4* review, despite the comments being.... less favourable, because the staff were accommodating and helpful and did everything they could when I raised any concerns. Firstly, I went to the ladies toilet when I first arrived, and came to the conclusion that nobody in Bradford was ever taught what the silver handle on a toilet is for. Every single toilet filthy, full of waste and used toilet paper, and the floor soaking. I flushed the toilets, because let's face it...it isn't difficult, and I mentioned to the staff about the cleanliness and then somebody took a mop bucket straight up. Its a shame that they aren't routinely checked on a regular basis. Secondly....I struggled as a pescetarian/ vegetarian going to eat off the lunch time menu. The evening menu has fish and King prawns but the lunch time menu doesn't. In fact the lunch time menu has no main meal at all that isn't chicken, beef, or pork based. I asked staff again if there were any vegetarian options and I was told that yes, there is fried rice, and also chips🤣. Again though, the staff were so accommodating and offered to make me a vegetarian meal. It's a disappointment though that a vegetarian or vegan diet isn't better catered for though on the...
