Costa Coffee — Restaurant in Breckland District

Paying £3 for a cup of coffee I would expect it to be good but it isn’t.

Expensive, tastes ok the bean but it was cold! I drank the whole thing in about 30 seconds and left.

Feel like the staff could be a little more professional, greeting everyone with darling and not sir/Madam, I also found that when serving customers they wouldn’t particularly give you their undivided attention and they would just casually talk and laugh with the other members of staff, not what you want when you are expecting the customer to be number 1 and not the people that work there.

But it is a chained coffee shop with plenty of money so they can’t possibly be doing a bad service right? I feel something very biased about people going out for a good cup of coffee more from an image perspective than the enjoy a good brewed cup of coffee, which I personally prefer from Tall Orders which is a...

Excessive covid 19 rules. I felt humiliated as I took the place of a customer who left the shop as they were so slow. I was told to wait outside. Ten minutes later still no movement. I then went into the shop as the queue moved and stood on the line. I stepped forward about 4 inches without thinking still a good metre and a half+ from the people in front. Suddenly get back on the line. The girl should have been helping the person making coffee as they were talking and laughing no consideration for the people waiting. Came in today, Wednesday, for a couple of iced drinks and asked for them to be in takeaway cups, just as personal preference. I was told I wouldn't get the discount even if I stayed in because apparently having your drink in a plastic cup means that it is to takeaway. Eventually she gave in and made them in plastic after I stated we were eating in several times. Just feel uncomfortable with glassware in this current pandemic.
