We ordered a lemon and blueberry cake and the gluten free coffee cake. I have to say they are probably one of the best we ever had in the area. We can tell by the quality and the taste of it, it’s homemade and taste like none others. The coffees we had were as expected just like other places, it’s a shame tho we were told the coffee frappe uses a coffee powder instead of a shot of espresso. Maybe the sausage roll is great when it is warmed up, but it should also...
Read moreThe Tea Pot is hidden away in Plowright Place, a lovely spot with a pedestrian area. The service here is beyond good and the food, as long as you are not looking for anything 'fancy' or 'Bistro', is fresh and wholesome. Mainly salads, jacket potatoes, and the usual chili and rice and lasagna. The cakes and scones are home made and particularly delicious with tea or coffee. The price for these wonderful offerings is exceptionally reasonable, expect to pay around £6.95 for a main course!! If there is a downside it is that; it gets very busy, closes at 4 :00 p.m. and it's cash...
