Malina is an exceptional place that I highly recommend! Here’s why:
The food is not only delicious but also healthy, with the option to customize dishes by adding your favorite ingredients. Everything is made fresh, and the quality is evident in every bite. Their English breakfast is, without a doubt, the best you’ll find in Brentwood – perfectly prepared and absolutely satisfying.
Another highlight is the opportunity to try new and unique flavor combinations. The presentation of the dishes is stunning, making each meal feel like a special experience. As for beverages, Malina serves the most aromatic coffee in town – you won’t find a better cup anywhere else. Their tea selection is exclusive and equally delightful.
The staff deserves a special mention for being attentive and cheerful, adding to the warm and welcoming atmosphere.
I recommend visiting on weekdays to fully immerse yourself in the relaxed and cozy vibe. Malina is a gem that promises a fantastic dining...

A refreshing change from the usual cakes we get in coffee shops and bakeries in the Uk which just use excessive sugar to mask cheap ingredients. The cakes in Malina Patisserie are clearly made by someone who has mastered their trade. Beautifully moist, subtle flavours and freshly made.
Another point to note is the coffee. They are using exceptional beans which are freshly roasted in Essex. None of this bulk, mass produced and vacuum packed coffee. Again we’re used to drinking poor coffees in cafe’s, where “baristas” are unable to steam milk correctly or even identify the difference between a cappuccino or a latte.
All served by the lovely lady who owns the business.
So if you’re sick of the large chain coffee shops and want to support a small, independent business that has passion for the products they make and serve, then Malina Patisserie is...
Read moreI was looking for an independent coffee shop away from the busy high street while in Brentwood and found Malina. Cute interior and attractive baked goods. Feedback: If there will be a big gap between cakes and coffee being brought, please don't bring the cakes first (or ask). We started digging away at the cake while waiting for the coffee and then finished it and still waited a while more. We would have rather had tap water and have cakes and coffee together. We weren't told it would be a long wait. Please label food correctly. I got the oat cookie with the 'oat cookie' label and it was actually mostly hazelnut with a bit of oat. My allergy is only a skin/throat irritation so I'm okay and don't need to be so careful. I did speak to the waitress that the label is misleading and she was understanding and said it...
