The Tap is a lovey little pub, which is a two minute away from the station. Quick service from the bar staff who always friendly. It a bit of locals pub, but all seem welcome. A nice selection of beers and spirits. The Tap is place in Brentwood to get a decent pint Guinness, and I have tried them all.
It has an outside space, which has a large TV and plenty of seating. Inside which is the only down side of the pub is a little on the small side.
Most weekends it’s pack and there is always something going on be it be DJ or karaoke and the off quiz.

Really friendly landlord & landlady as were the locals...a proper pub not far from the Railway Station with no plastic people as can be the case on the High Street! Interior is a bit fresher now and I also don't bang my head the glasses store above the bar now, but I'd have to say that the beer selection has taken a turn for the worse. The folks that own the pub now, Craft Union, may be trying to cash in on the craft beer scene but there wasn't a craft beer in the place.
